We need a strong AMD to return to sensible GPU pricing, Nvidia is charging nearly a grand for their flagship which would be a 980Ti and priced accordingly if AMD had a decent offering on the table.
I agree with this entirely and I have said the same many times but would you keep returning to the same restaurant that took forever to bring you your order? I would give them the benefit of the doubt a couple of times and then move on to somewhere else.
I do hope AMD can turn it around to keep a healthy competition but with Roy tweeting the drivers will be here next week and the week is almost over and again it is looking like no drivers, it is just another let down for the punters.

Samsung knows that very well because all 5 monitors are 4K. Those who are considering 4K may well be the premium market segment. Bottom line is that AMD came to the market with this Freesync half baked and it created a mess for not only the monitor manufacturers but also for the "regular" driver releases as it tries to address these issues without clearly not putting enough resources in place. Make it worse, the AMD "punks" pretty much think that giving vague updates makes the customers/users satisfied. My view is that if your house is on fire stop buying more charcoal for your barbeque.
