The AMD Driver Thread

My overclock works but it won't auto load I have to manually apply it..

Afterburner needs a new update they is quite a lot of bugs at the moment with Windows 10..

What I do is set up a overclock and save it into a profile and click on profile and then click on the tick and mine works fine.

I've tried that, doesn't change the speed :(

I've been using Afterburner with Win 10, I use it to add a fan profile and to change the core clock, I have it set to start up when I turn the pc on and it's set to automatically use my settings, It's working fine for me.

Mmmmm mine never loads might be worth me reinstall it.

Just to confirm mine also wont load have to manually I also have windows 10, I have reinstalled it a bunch of times

I have it to start with windows but only loads my base clocks and standard fan control
Defo needs a better optimised version for windows 10

Anyone know how to fix the stuttering on The Witcher 3 when crossfire is enabled. Made a clean install of Win 10 tonight and figured AMD would have sorted The Witcher by now but as per usual still runs like crap. Tried just about everything I can from forums ect. Changing settings, limiting fps in rivatuner and afterburner ect. Completely unplayable with crossfire on. Run much better on one card. Pretty much had it with AMD now. Always buy two of top cards last 5 years running. Not bothering with them again now.

tldr. AMD get your s*&$ together and fix The Witcher 3 crossfire stutter

What was it like on Windows 8 or 7 ??? its possible a Windows 10 issue.. I know SLI is having issues in some games on Windows 10 so I wouldn't rule out it being Windows 10 issue.

Was exactly the same on windows 8. There was really bad flashing issues before which seem to have been addressed. However it's not playable at all with crossfire. The screen stutters all over the shop. I noticed if you turn on AFR for the crossfire mode it runs amazingly but the flashing comes back. It really needs to get sorted out.

Am not sure then, I dont have the game to test.

Any chance we might get VSR for 4K screens so we can increase the res up to 8K like Nvidia has been able to do on their drivers and cards for quite some time ?

I have no problem with afterburner what so ever on win10. I just simply upgraded so everything was on there just like my previous OS. If you did a fresh install that might be why.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+10+-+64 ?

The 15.7.1s are not leaked betas like the 15.20.1065s I'm using or the 15.201.1001s mentioned at guru3d. ;)

Already got these, theres supposedly been an update. :)

From the FX thread.

We fixed an issue with Skype in a updated 15.7.1 driver just the other day. Might be worth uninstalling 15.7.1 and downloading the newer version from www.amd.com/drivers.

Matt, why wasn't new driver put under new revision? instead of 15.7.1, do 15.7.2. And driver on AMD website is dated last month.

Thanks for the reply, Just curious but why didn't the driver folks rename it to 15.7.1b seeing as it's got a newer fix to in it compared to when 15.7.1 came out ?

Confusion rains, as date hasn't changed (still 29/07), updated driver would be dated August, if it was updated the other day, and the driver hasn't changed, so wheres this 'updated' :p

It has got very confusing in recent times, we have gone from complaining about a lack of AMD drivers to being bombarded with numerous official and leaked ones!

is this the latest one? It prompted me to update yesterday.
