Is iCUE still an issue with the AMD drivers? I don't remember what the issue was, but I remember there was one.

A while back I bought a Corsair keyboard and mouse, so I sort of need iCue. If I'd have known at the time I probably wouldn't have bothered.iCUE in general is an issue, poo software.
Since I stopped using it all my AMD driver issues have completely gone.
I wonder if it is impacted by motherboards and or just quality of drivers it has to interact with? Like I say, been fine here with my 6900 and Asrock board. But perhaps some weird combinations just don't play well with it. We're sitting here blaming iCUE and it could be because of xyz driver or hardware implementation from a motherboard maker. I mean I don't feel for example the iCUE software is as bad as some of the ASUS rubbish.A while back I bought a Corsair keyboard and mouse, so I sort of need iCue. Mind you in fairness I imagine it's largely the same with the software that comes with pretty much all hardware.
I agree. I've never had a problem with NZXT's CAM software but a lot of people have issues with it causing instability and the like. The PC space is impossible to cater for every single possible combination of hardware/software.I wonder if it is impacted by motherboards and or just quality of drivers it has to interact with? Same, XTX and no issues with Firefox or ChromeAlso using Firefox, on a 7900XT and the only extensions I have are uBlock & 'Hide YouTube shorts' - no issues at all for me using YouTube or watching videos.
What version of Firefox are you on @Dicehunter ?
They've re-assigned driver guy to AI.Where the hell are they?
What is it that aint working for ya that makes you want a new driver? So nividia have released 3 new game supporting drivers since the last Adrenalin. Where the hell are they?
Do none of the games you play work without a dedicated support driver from AMD? I don't think I've updated my drivers in months, I was the same when I had an Nvidia GPU. If it's not broken, why change it?So nividia have released 3 new game supporting drivers since the last Adrenalin. Where the hell are they?
Still on 24.6.1 here and not had any issues, although I don't tend to play stuff on release (or generally for a couple of years after)I'm still using 24.4.1 hehehe.
To be fair, even when I've played games on release without a game ready driver I've not had issues.Still on 24.6.1 here and not had any issues, although I don't tend to play stuff on release (or generally for a couple of years after)
