The AMD Driver Thread

That should be in today's release. please ensure your pipeline caches are cleared before testing

@welshrat the fix for the hybrid config failures was unfortunately a bit more involved. It was too risky of a change to get it into today's release under the timeframe that we had (the change requires more testing), should hopefully meet the next release. In the interim, I think it would unfortunately be best to disable igfx as a workaround.
No worries, I have plenty of other stuff to play. I will wait for the driver. Thanks for getting on top of this.

it's fine. the change is in platform abstraction library, which is the underlying sw layer beneath all of our usermode drivers. Changes here need to face a lot of scrutiny to be deemed stable (and with good reason)

Cheers will test soon.

Can somebody in the driver team reproduce an issue I am having with Serato Dj Pro (Serato Dj Lite is free to use if they dont have Pro version already which they probably dont :) ) When I have Second Life loaded up in a fairly high graphically intensive scene, Serato Dj really starts stuttering a lot (the tunes timelines that move in the beatgrid) and have had it actually crash Second Life once. I have started to run Serato Dj on a second PC for now which has a 4300G with no dGPU installed, it runs great but testing both Serato and Second Life together on that PC and I get the same outcome with Serato stuttering and freezing in the beatgrid.

I am running a 1440p miniLED as primary display at 180Hz (Freesync Premium Pro) with 2x 1080p displays at 120Hz (Freesync Premium), I run Serato Dj from one of these 1080p displays. It happens with all different refresh rates set which I thought might have been the issue. I feel like its a driver issue with AMD as this is happening on my main PC in my Sig and a separate PC running a Ryzen 4300G.

It pains me to say, this never happened when I had a 3060Ti :(

Multi monitor setups, who would even do this in 2026? :D

Hope that is enough info to get on with :)

I did send a bug report through the driver software.

Happening on 26.3.1 and later. Hoping this new driver might fix it.

Thanks.
I'm not sure we have this in coverage, I'll see if we can procure the pro version if not.

@AMD_Vik These new drivers are still giving me install issues. Install via the Download Manager failed in the same way I've previously described (erroneous hardware error and long black screen, killing of Fan Control process), second repair install via the web install from AMD.com worked perfectly (without having to do a reset install) with only a momentary black screen.

Thanks, be great to get this issue sorted out to be honest.

Also done a long test in Second Life earlier, so far so good, not seen any flickering on avatars yet and thats with a club full of over 90 avatars. I do have a bit of weird flickering stuff on my own avatars head but that might be just an old hairbase I've been using for years but all in all pretty happy right now.. cheers :)

That's interesting, I have a couple users on reddit who are still observing the issue on 26.7.1 :/
