If anyone with a 290(x) crossfire setup can test one of those crappy old DirectX games with v-sync enabled to see if their sound output breaks I'd appreciate it.

Though I guess if I don't see anything in their release notes I'll have my answer.

It does. I've reported the issue to amd, but you should as well. Check the links in my sig. Currently it affects all drivers after 13.11 Beta 9.2 as far as i know. So use Beta 13.11 9.2 if you need it fixed asap. Will let you know tonight or tomorrow if its fixed in 14.2.

I'm amazed at the choppy sound issue with crossfire. How can they release drivers in such a poor state?

It's almost amusing really. 9.2 fixes it for the most part, but still, pull your finger out ay

Make sure you spend the time to report the issue via the links in my sig and give your full system details etc. Otherwise these sort of bugs don't always get fixed as people would rather moan on a forum than spend 5 minutes reporting the issue.
