When's 7970 support gonna be working in bf4 Matt?

It might be working now, give it a try and see. Make sure you uninstall the old driver first though before installing 14.1 beta. It works for some and is a bit buggy for others. So suck it and see. It was too buggy for me so im waiting for the next driver. Should be here next week.

^the screws he needs will either be 6-32, m3 or m4, though iirc most of those aio rads are a 6-32 thread and he'll need them ~30mm long. Him being in the backwards word of north America he should have no problem picking up some imperial threaded bolts :D

New drivers will be coming out on or before the 25th. You heard it here first.

Yes i think they're the same ones i use on my H100i. I actually have some spare ones as well, but ill be damned if im shipping them to the US. :p

I hope Power limit works on new betas with mantle.

LtMatt i noticed that when i am playing bf4 on DX11 with monitor overclocked to 72hz and fps limit on 71 my card gets 6c hotter over mantle(CPU works harder and heats my loop up more) and.... I start to get artefacts after 1 hour of gaming :/ But thats cause vcore kkes going up and down all the time faking hate that on R9 series that voltage is all over the place. On my 7950 i had it locked at 1.27vcore and no problems like that :/

If i be bothered i try locked voltage OC :P

The 50+ power setting? That works for me on 14.1

Sounds like you need a voltage bump on your gpu. ;)

HELP!!!!

Right - Having a bit of a nightmare here. New 7850 arrived and I did as LtMatt advised above, used DDU to remove the nvidia drivers then had it shut down the PC. Removed 9800GTX and fitted 7850. Started the PC back up and installed CCC and the Radeon drivers. It went through all that fine and then restarted the PC. PC booted to desktop in my monitors native resolution (LG E2242) @ 1920x1080. All fine at this stage. I fired up Arma III and had a go, pleased to see a substantial increase in performance. However, there was some noticeable flickering on the screen, especially in dark/night missions. Anyway, quit the game then went back to desktop. I then installed MSI Afterburner and started that up, however I didn't change anything in there at all. Restarted the PC and it booted to desktop but it was in 1024x768. Tried changing the resolution back to 1920x1080 within CCC but when I do that the refresh rate changes to 29mhz. If I then apply those settings the screen goes black and I get a 'Monitor out of range' message on the screen. I then need to reboot and try again.

I've no idea what I've done wrong but whatever I do I cannot get back to my usual screen resolution even for just Windows, never mind playing a game. I've uninstalled MSI Afterburner but it still does the same. So I uninstalled the ATI CCC/Drivers and restarted then went through the driver install process again. Rebooted and its still the same - 1024x768.

HALP!!!!! :(

Did you run DDU12.3 (theres been a new update since we last spoke) in safe mode? Best to login to safe mode, run DDU, clean and restart then install the 13.12 WHQL drivers in express mode. Restart and you should be good to go. Leave afterburner for now and make sure your gpu is working ok first.

Yep, did all that first time around and as I said, initially it worked fine. I've just went through the entire process again and its still not right. Now when the PC boots to desktop the monitor goes blank and I get a message saying 'D-Sub Out of range 75.0kHz / 60Hz'.

Nope, monitor doesn't have DVI as far as I know, I've always used a VGA-DVI adapter into the back of the GPU. I'll try resetting the refresh rate in CCC now that I've tapped F8 and booted into 'low resolution mode' but I think it will still do the same thing. Cannot understand this for the life of me considering it all worked fine initially and even let me play a bit of Arma III.

The GPU (not knowing) may be putting out a DVI signal which is freaking your D-Sub Monitor out.

I don't have a D-Sub adapter so i can't replicate your problem, but i will install CCC and have a look, see if i can find the right settings.

Thanks, appreciate the assistance. I managed to change the resolution in CCC to 1440x900 and the box on the left with refresh rate in it stayed at 60hz. But as soon as I try changing the box on the left with screen resolutions to 1920x1080 the refresh rate box changes to 29hz and I can't change it back to 60hz as you can see:-
