I can verify that the power limit/ power tune option is now working. I tested at +100mV and 1180 core with +50% power limit and the OC was perfectly stable with zero throttling. When I dropped power limit to 0% the core clock throttled to ~950.

So if you are still not getting power limit to work try clearing the drivers with DDU.

Powerlimit working in crossfire as well. :)

really? I set mine to +100mv and +50 power limit. And only a small oc to 1100 and 3d Mark would crash unless I put even more mv through it.

Currently trying out 14.4 beta and can see a massive difference in bf4. Was previously on 13.12 and believe it or not, suffering from what looked like bottle necking using an i7 860 @3.6ghz.

Shanghai is the place to test it out and was only getting 45 fps in window mode using dx11. Using mantle, I am getting 75 and up. So back to a gpu bottle neck and very happy with the performance.

Way to go AMD.:D

So do you all uninstall your old drivers before installing new ones? My previous card was nVidia, no hissing at the back please, and I just installed the new drivers over the old ones.

Never install over the old ones. Its not how AMD recommend it. Uninstall the drivers, then run the DDu tool linked below in safe mode. Then install the new drivers.

Does it make much difference uninstalling the drivers first, I have been cutting out the middleman and running DDU to get rid of them.:D

That should be fine as well. Its just in the past DDU had a bug where if you did that when yoou next installed a new driver it would report an error. That has been fixed but i play it on the safe side.

damn these drivers are good just played the shanghai map with full 64 players never dropped below 60fps most the time it was around 75 or so not bad for a crappy fx 6300 and a 280x using mantle on ultra settings but only 2x aa still looks good though

Are you seeing much of an increase on the 14.4's Matt? I'm still using the 14.3's as since going 13.12 - 14.3 I have seen smoother frames and a small increase in my Heaven and Valley scores, not a lot but 15-25 points on average @ stock.

My monitor brick/psu died on monday so im currently using a crappy TN 1050P panel so ive not done much gaming/testing on the new drivers on my 290 crossfire setup. Once i get my 1440P IPS screen up and running again the gaming and testing will continue. I'm planning do to one of my benchmark threads where i test a few different games and post the results.

I'm not seeing much improvement over the 14.2's... and no Titan XF support either.. however they seem stable, however, I'd not necessarily upgrade if you're happy with the current performance.

Tanfall xfire support mentioned in the list...there was a game update too a while back that kinda fixed it...mad artifacts went but wasnt smooth as it should be...hopefully these will sort.

Now just need the 60fps cap removed from it
