Strange.. Im getting lower temps with these new 14.4 drivers.. like 2 or 3c cooler

Was around 67-68c on 14.3 drivers and after a few rounds earlier its maxing at 65c with the 14.4's. Im at the point now where i dont even need to turn up my case fans, leaving them on the lowest rpm

Had that once with mine a few updates back....same fan profiles etc but 5c drop in temps....not complaining though

I got improvements on my HD7770 (in dx and mantle) so im guessing you will as well. This driver has a new Mantle build in it vs 14.3 beta. AMD rarely list all the improvements they make in drivers, one of their faults imo. They should sell it more, like Nvidia did with the 337 drivers.

I updated from 14.1 to be fair so have missed a few incarnations. think I'll flick Mantle on to see how it plays and if it still torches itself I'm rolling back.

I have flickering in BF4 options with Cat 14.4, especially under the customize menu's. Its not really bad but its there. Anybody else have this?

Matt, I'm running 14.2's, is it worth me upgrading for anymore BF4 Mantle performance? I'm over 100fps anyway BUT always love free performance... not sure I'll benefit?

I can verify that the power limit/ power tune option is now working. I tested at +100mV and 1180 core with +50% power limit and the OC was perfectly stable with zero throttling. When I dropped power limit to 0% the core clock throttled to ~950.

So if you are still not getting power limit to work try clearing the drivers with DDU.

Mmm, wel I took the punt and running 14.4's and there is something odd with the auto setting on the coolers on 7990's... not sure how or why, had to fiddle with AB and then default everything and now it's fine... very odd... and was running 5C over normal... now it's back to normal.... odd... however they seem to be ok in BF3 DX and in BF4 Mantle and CS-GO/Source/DIRT/F1 2013 all working fine... no noticeable performance improvement in Mantle though tbh... nothing I could see anyway.

EDIT: Also, zero crossfire support in Titanfall... thought this had a profile? Mine's only using ONE core... all the rest are 100% unused

EDIT2: Mmmm... there is something wrong with the temps again... I'm not hitting over 100C on one of the cores on full load, wtf... was maxing around 83C.... checked all the fans etc and all working... so manually setting to 100% speed and see what happens....
