They'll come crying when Mantle doesn't work properly, or something else. ;)

I think 14.3 supported crossfire in titanfall as well because there was a known issue in the release notes about some flickering in crossfire.

If Titan now has crossfire support, then god knows how you enable it, because AB is reporting only one GPU being used and judging by the temps, I'd say it's 100% NOT using anything more than one card.

Anyone else got proof that crossfire is working in Titanfall? be nice to get some extra performance...

Shankly confirmed its working. The problem is the game is not that demanding so the gpu usage will be low because there is no work to do because the fps is locked.

See here both cards are evenly used on Titanfall. But as matt said the game is not demanding enough to push crossfire 290s to fill load.

OK, so now they've been out for a few days, what are the opinions on the 14.4 beta drivers?
Better than the 14.3 betas?
I'm most interested with regards to the 7000 cards (planning to keep my 290s on WHQL drivers).

Good reports around the net. Will test them myself in the next few hours.

Crossfire didn't seem to work in BF4 in my cards, had the odd stutter so back to good ol DX. Audio still messed up for HDMI receivers.

I had to reinstall windows 8.1 after uninstalling 14.3. Rebooted and the 14.4 failed to install display driver. ubinstalled and rebooted and no catalyst version would install the display driver. Reinstalled windows and 14.4 went on fine.

Went from 14.3 to 14.4 and for the first time in ages properly uninstalled 14.3 and then ran DDU in safe mode before installing 14.4.

Seems to work fine, though my VRAM usage has gone up in BF4.

well i don't know what's going on with this driver but all of a sudden my nice stable overclock tri-x 290 has gone to **** in bf4.

I'm now totally back to stock...

Running fine on my olde 6970s....noticed a slight drop in temperature too...about 5c...cards working less hard to max out ghost at my present settings?

Titanfall still not ok though...was fine at medium settings i had when running on one card but if i upped them then i got some mild flickering...nothing like before though. ran smooth too.

Mmm, locked to what>? I'm playing and getting around 60fps... surely it'll just use the other card, AB is saying ZERO usage???
