**THE AMD DRIVERS THREAD**

Install method I use.

Installing a new driver version.
Enter Control panel and and uninstall current driver now Restart
Download and install Driver Fusion and scan AMD Display and remove all and restart again
Screen should now be in Standard VGA mode "massive icons"
Install new driver and restart once more.

Done :D
 
Memory management included in 13.5 Matt?

I'll be splitting everything into better categories tonight with links to important threads, including warranties, overclocking and maybe some others :)

Memory management is already included for single gpu in 13.3 beta 3. The 7970 already has better frame times than the 680 but i would expect things to improve even further with 13.5. Multi gpu is going to feel the main benefit though.

The only game with slight issues is farcry 3 on single gpu and that is confirmed by Thracks as a game issue than can only be fixed by Ubisoft and we all know what Ubisoft are like.
 
Afaik it's a game engine issue, I haven't tried fc3 in a long time as it was simply unplayable for me, I'll give it another whirl this week see if I can figure out some tweaks for cf.

I hope blood dragon isn't the same as that game looks sweet :D
 
I was playing FarCry3 other day and it ran fine? I use RadeonPro, driver 13.3 and the FC3 patch was 1.05.

Was super smooth like.
RadeonPro settings
Tweaks
Vsync Always on and disabled ingame
Triple buffering - on
Lock frame rate up to monitors refresh rate - on
Disable Aero
Force Process high priority
Advanced settings
Texture filtering Quality - High
Mipmap Quality - High

Was just about to come in and say it's been a while since AMD has released a WHQL! Hopefully these 13.4's have some nice gains, not sure if they will include memory management though?

They ment to be already in driver 13.3

I can't use vysnc. I'm a "pro gamer" and I hate the input lag :D

Perhaps you're just lest sensitive than I am to it.
