Matt do you know if the 290 will support DX12? I'm tempted to add another tri-x. Also do you get a copy of the new civ AND the AMD gold promo of 3 games from OcUK - i know it's not your job to know but thought you might...

How long has there been an option in catalyst drivers to move the windows taskbar to the middle screen when running eyefinity? Only noticed it the other day and it makes it far handier to use, though almost reminds me of a mac desktop interface with the taskbar being in the middle again.

Hi Dave,

Yes we will support DX12 with GCN.

As for the codes, yes i believe OcuK are still offering the promotion and i see them available on the main site. You'd need to check with OcuK to be 100% sure though.

Currently Hawaii offers up to a maximum of 3200x1800 in VSR. However, in the not too distant future we plan to release a 'Phase 2' driver which will expand on the number of supported cards and increase the number of available resolutions. At this time, Hawaii should be able to support up to 4K VSR.

Are you using the latest 14.12 Omega drivers? A quick google seems to indicate a lot of flickering problems with this particular monitor.

Answers to a few of the most recently asked questions.

Question: Any updates on a CrossFire profile for Far Cry 4?

RH: We have currently disabled CrossFire support for Far Cry 4, as the developer must make additional client-side updates before mGPU will provide a smooth experience.

Question: Will it be possible in the future to support VSR on 1440p displays at greater than 60Hz? Is this a bandwidth issue, or something that can be supported?

RH: We are exploring additional resolution/refresh combinations beyond what was provided in AMD Catalyst Omega, but we have not determined the complete matrix. However, we do intend to extend 4K downsampling to all R9 and R7 Series products, 260 and up, with a driver in the Jan/Feb timeframe.

Question: In regards to PLP Eyefinity, which GPUs support this, is it only R9 285 and if so, will there be support on other GPUs in the future?

RH: This is a hardware-level capability, and is therefore limited to the R9 285 at this time.

Question: Will VSR work on 21:9 ratio displays? If not now, in the future?

Well i can 100% confirm that Crossfire works no problems with 13.9 drivers, did another fresh windows install and used 13.9 instead of 14.12. Since on of the drivers works i cannot see how it could be a hardware problem.
