Fifa 14 worked well for me with both 13.10 beta 1 & 2. Not tried these newest yet, I only got around to getting beta 2 yesterday morning. I guess I will try it a little later and see if I get Fifa 14 problems though.

With 13.10 beta1 the game would stutter every now and then, beta 2 fixed this. 13.11 just would crash be nice if you could confirm this, I also sent a report if it happens to you could you also send one please.

THe link is in matt sig

Thanks

i'm running my max 24/7 overclock 1200/1700 and i'm 3-4 degrees less, and bf4 is running a treat. when i bought my 7970 for £450 i thought i'd made a terrible mistake but it keeps on going...i might treat it to a waterblock at xmas...

Just played a few games, I had no crashing or stuttering issues at all whilst playing. It's been the same for me through all drivers so far. Have you got vsync turned off? In Fifa 12 & 13, I had an unholy amount of issues with crashing when vsync was off. When I turned it on, it was completely stable. It may be an issue you are suffering.

Thanks for replay... Most be something on my end then. Couple Question You using Windows 7? and are you Crossfire?

I do use vsync and the game is forced with RadeonPro to use 120hz or by default it locks at 60hz.

RP as always worked for me so don't think its that.. I use Windows 8 and Crossfire maybe something to do with that?

Anyway i'll prob just wait on the next driver release now.

The only difference appears to be Windows 8. I use Windows 7 with a 7990.

Three notches crashed. So ive managed to lower voltage two notches with this driver at my highest long term stable overclock.

What are ur volts for 1200 core clock Matt if u can remember? :)

I can do 1100 core @ 1075v all day long before the 13.11's and when i bench im putting about 1174v for 1200 core. Wondering if i can lower these a bit now and drop the temps a bit :)

Not entirely sure as i used to get artifacts at that core speed. If i could keep the gpu cooler at those clocks it might be possible. So far it seems before the drivers i need 1.194v for 1125/1500. That's now come down to 1.181v.

The whole "beta driver" thing annoys me... need more regular legit drivers.

There is pretty much no difference between a 'beta' driver and a 'legit' driver.

All a 'legit' driver has is MS stamped seal of approval from going through WHQL.

What I want them to do is bring out some new Vista drivers! The wifes PC runs Vista HP 64bit with a 7850 and the newest drivers she can use is 13.4's... =/

Damn i wish i could be arsed to watercool as i reckon this Sapphire is a good clocker with proper cooling.. im sure i can do ur 1125 core with under 1.1v.. my problem is the clock though.. too high and i get artifacts no matter how low i can keep the voltage. Bet i'll be able to clock to 1250 core on these drivers when the winter sets in :)

Over 1125 i start to get artifacts at 74C or over. These new drivers might have changed that though. I'd need to do more testing. Its doubtful but i can hope.

I think u should hit 1150 now as before 13.11 i was worried about hitting 1200 core in Heaven without having to be hugging the Esc key :p but now the 13.11's let me sit back and relax more running Heaven now :D

I may have jumped the gun on the two notches lower thing. Although it seems to pass BF4 fine and dandy Sleeping Dogs still requires my previous voltage clocks. It was fun while it lasted though. :D
