I installed the drivers, loaded Heaven Benchmark and realised I hadn't disabled ULPS. So I disabled it and now every time I attempt to load Haven, the screen goes black and then I get blue screen error.

I will try to reinstall the drivers because they seemed to install FAR too quick for it to have been done correctly.
 
Might be worth waiting guys for AMD to provide official links rather than using these leaks. These drivers seem to be hanging on install for me. Switched back to the 13.11 beta 1 drivers for now.

Failed every time I tried to install it. Reverting back to beta 1 for now. It wasn't hanging though, seemed to install too quickly if anything. Sometimes I tried, the display drivers didn't install at all. Some people have apparently had success installing it, but I don't think it will happen for me, so I will just wait for AMD to release it themselves.
 
These new drivers don't work properly if you use anything other than 7zip to extract them, atleast in my case, using winrar to extract them the installation had problems.

Yes that's what ive heard as well. I think thats why they didnt install properly for me. Asder has uploaded a new version that will extract properly with Winrar. As i said though, im not sure these drivers will ever get released by AMD. These are the leaked 290X preview drivers. The proper 290X review drivers are Beta 5 and wii no doubt get released officially very soon.
 
I installed and noticed problems straight away. BF3 slowed down to 5-10fps for a minute or so and the resumed. Back to 13.11b1 and fine

Also, I recommend trawling the Guru3d thread on drivers before installing. People always post helpful info there (in between the normal nonsense)
 
Ok well I've messed around with these for a day or so now, you can extract them perfectly fine using 7zip or Winrar 5.0 anything lower than 5.0 doesnt extract them properly it seems.

For me these drivers fix the bug where the cursor would flicker when right clicking say an mp3 or jpeg :)

Also they perform really well with my setup in battlefield 3 I can frame lock at 60fps with ultra settings and ultra smaa via radeon pro even on the huge 64 player maps.

These seem to be the best drivers since the 13.8 beta 2's for me.

Maybe 13.11 Beta 3 are the 290X release drivers. Would make sense with them coming out just before. Although, they're still not on the AMD site so there is a chance they aren't. Typically they'd have been on the AMD site by now.

I think there still tweaking, they sent what they had out to reviewers but they are not yet finished.
