It's happening in single player today. It didn't happen all day yesterday at all.

Was there an update or something that may have possibly caused it?

I found that afterburner and radeonpro have caused some issues with bf4 and that error message. If you have them running try to disable them and see if it helps. If not hang tight for the new driver like me.

I'm getting pixelated textures with the latest beta drivers in BF4, gonna roll back.
