Anyone know anything about this so called 'Epic' driver launch for the R9 cards? It is reported the new driver will vastly improve the 290 (Non x) performance over the current driver issues they have which is causing the delay in release. As the 290 and 290x are basically the same card would you think that means the 290x will receive a big performance boost when the 290 is released?
Fixed my glitching it was the stupid boost on my 7950 setting voltage to 20% in ccc fixed it as it stops the boosting. I don't run one of the modded bioses.
OT sorry
If you have Windows 8 or 8.1 and an SSD you might want to have a read of this.

What the hell is this Raptr crap that's on my machine after installing Beta8??? Can it be avoided with a custom install rather than express in future?
For now the only solution is to uninstall it after you install the drivers.
In theory yes, but at the moment for some reason its not possible to untick it. Personally ive embraced it as i like the logo in my taskbar.

I could untick it? I just selected custom install and untick that and I always do audio.
Those who find they can't untick Raptr during installation probably already have it installed (and up to date) which is why it shows as greyed out and unselectable.
I seem to be having issues with the beta 8 drivers.
- Crossfire clocks won't synchronise consistently in Afterburner (3.0.0 beta 15), I end up with GPU1 at 925/1250 and GPU2 at 1100/1400 most of the time.
- Clock speeds randomly alternating between idle/2d/full whilst in game, causing stuttering
- A lot of crashes & freezes
Going to go back to a previous 13.11 beta to sort it out.
Disable synchronize I have found that to be more hassle than its worth.. GPU sync expects both cards to be 1to1 not always the case.
Did you disable ULPS?
