I don't think much has changed since i did my last test and that was 13.11 beta 6. Once we move to 13.12 ill consider it. Waiting for Mantle really. That's the next big thing to be excited about.

Mantle will only give us BF4 comparisons though. You'll need to do the other games with 13.12 :)

Well I must say going to 13.11 latest beta improved my batman orgins game massively. Was on 13.9 before. I must say though the game still feels jerky with mouse and I am getting 60 fps most of the time. Any idea i am using a g9. Is this mouse or some gfx setting.

Just to add all my DPI setting and polling rates are maxed.

You've got very little chance of it getting fixed because Nvidia/Warner brothers blocked AMD designing performance optimisations that could be implemented into the game.

Credit to Cat the filth for spotting this.

Via google translate from the reviewer at Hardware.fr it seems!

Nvidia up to their dirty tricks again...AMD not allowed to provide any optimizations for Batman AO.

EDIT

The chap who quotes it is the Hardware.fr senior editor:

They are the main hardware review website in France.

Thats shocking. disgusting behaviour, i wonder if Nvidia are behind this?

Who else would gain from blocking AMD going in to optimize for the game.

And Nvidia fans complain at the criticism Nvidia receives over and over again.

Perhaps if Nvidia didn't hand out a constant supply of ammunition.....?

Edit. i might go onto the BM forums later and see what they have to say about this.

Why cant they all just get along I know as i am a big RPGer that the new dragon age is going to probably use mantle (frostbite engine) So I will probably get a 290x or 290 crossfire. But its annoying when a game seems optimised to hell for a GPU. So whatever GPU i get some of my games wont run as well as they should :(

At least with mantle it will not block Nvidia from optimising for Directx11 as they would normally.

I will ask Thracks if he knows anything about this issue with Batman.
