Fill your boots. I like RT if it's done well.Could we not just vote with our wallets and not buy games with RT in them until developers get the hint?

Give it 5 years and RT will be a subscription service along with FSR and DLSS. Oh and AI.
I am more concerned that the AIB 9060 XT will end up with 3 8 pin connectors like the 9070 XT. How many amps are they going to be pulling and will a gold rated PSU be ok or will be forced to move toward platinum / cybernetics.
My PSU is 54 amps on the 12v, brings back the question, will it game
3080 is still a great card. Been using it in my SFF in my living room. Couldn't turn down 400 quid for it though. New AMD cards are sounding more and more tempting by the day...If the rumours are true for these leaks then I'm liking the direction they are taking.
Having thought about it through today, I'll likely be sticking with my 3080 until I can't reach what I want from it or it goes to GPU heaven. Still a cracking GPU that does everything I need of it.
It absolutely is and I'm still happy with the performance. You know what like when something new and shiny comes out in your hobby world...3080 is still a great card. Yep correct this is just mid to upper mid range from AMD. Just 4 cards in the range. 9060, 9070 and then XT varients. It absolutely is and I'm still happy with the performance. You know what like when something new and shiny comes out in your hobby world...
On a side note, is it just this generation AMD aren't competing in the top end or has that not been disclosed?
Just for this generation or for the foreseeable? I'll be skipping this lot but will definitely be keeping an eye on reviews and future announcements.Yep correct this is just mid to upper mid range from AMD. Just 4 cards in the range. 9060, 9070 and then XT varients.
No idea sorry, just for this one I am assuming. Focusing on gaining some market share I believe. Not sure on what come next.Just for this generation or for the foreseeable? I'll be skipping this lot but will definitely be keeping an eye on reviews and future announcements.
Driver support is were AMD usually fall down, plus they hve a backend focus on developing and deliverying AI chips, thats basically top tiar cards, so it make sence to focus on the big money with AI and data center for them and then gaming later with the rewards that come from that. my 2 cents at least

Looks like 9060/XT will have 8GB VRAM which nobody will buy in 2025, expect those to be under £300.

AMD's Adrenalin software has been great for a while (though it would crash on my 6700XT from time to time and I'd have to manually reload my presets). Nvidia is only just catching up with its new app after finally abandoning its mandatory login to Geforce experience.Driver support is were AMD usually fall down, plus they hve a backend focus on developing and deliverying AI chips, thats basically top tiar cards, so it make sence to focus on the big money with AI and data center for them and then gaming later with the rewards that come from that. my 2 cents at least
On early leaks 9060XT (originally 8600xt) was based on Navi44 (smaller die) with 8GB on 128-bit configuration.
On recent leaks it moved to Navi48 with 12GB on 192-bit configuration.
We most likely to see 9050XT on 8GB VRAM with £200 entry level price as well. It's also XX50 Gen (1050/1650, 3050, 5050?) for Nvidia so this might make sense on competition arena.
This would also match with the RDNA 1 stack
GPU Chip Memory Name > GPU Chip Memory Name Navi 14 4GB 128-bit RX 5500 XT > Navi 44 8GB 128-bit RX 9050 XT Navi 10 6GB 192-bit RX 5600 XT > Navi 48 12GB 192-bit RX 9060 XT Navi 10 8GB 256-bit RX 5700 > Navi 48 16GB 256-bit RX 9070 Navi 10 8GB 256-bit RX 5700 XT > Navi 48 16GB 256-bit RX 9070 XT
Sorry for all the speculation
Tpu have the 9600xt down as 12gb. No sure where they are getting that info.

Lets hope so, I thought I saw the 8GB thing on Videocardz but after looking back it was Wccftech which seem a little less creditable with their news.
They just report on every rumours, no matter how dubious, so they're only as reliable as their sources. But in the last week or so the leaks and rumours have been coming thick and fast and seem to be saying the same things. And some from previously accurate places. Though we'll see tomorrow. First card in the stack is " AMD will do a full announcement on the 15th" may all start tumbling from there.Wait, is Videocardz considered credible these days?!
I always equated it to the Daily Star of hardware news
