@Gerard fair play with your patience mate,
Of all people why are you quoting MLID ffs. That guy makes **** up as he goes along. Does he have evidence?
What? He just literally said he doesn't give a **** and does not even play games. Lol

In regards to complaining about BS click bait that's taken as fact.:thumbsupWhat? He just literally said he doesn't give a **** and does not even play games. Lol
They've broken Humbug.
Man's been hoping AMD come good for 15 years now.

None of this matters until they announce the price and reviews are out.
Lol. So AMD could not have managed this any better yes? It is all the fault of the interwebz?
Matters to who? None of those things affect the way my PC performs. But it does matter. The way they are managing Radeon, their markets share keeps going in the wrong direction.

Totally all rumours when:
1.)AMD pulled the CES announcement at the last minute
2.)Didn't tell the tech press they were doing this, who released official slides
3.)Tech press confounded on what was happening, because AMD said nothing
4.)AIB partners confounded as they were showing off cards at CES to the tech press
5.)Cards with huge coolers,PCBs,etc that look expensive
6.)AMD saying everything was going according to plan and they were targeting the mainstream
7.)AMD seemingly not wanting to talk about RDNA4 in any detail
8.)Retailers receiving stock with pictures of the boxes
9.)Some retailers showing orders/pre-orders for this week
10.)AMD now saying the launch is sometime in March despite retailers having stock
Totally normal dGPU launch there.

AMD totally reacting in a normal way.

I don't see how that relates to my post, but okWell they should carry on then I suppose. Single digit market share here we come![]()

The Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7900 GRE offered aggressive pricing for their performance. The market responded well in a market where prices are constantly rising. AMD continues to focus on being a value-for-money company. When we announce RDNA4, we’re going to announce a powerful graphics card. It’s not going to be a $300 card, but it’s not going to be a $1,000 card either.
We’re going to have something that most people will say is a good product at a good price. We think people will really like it. Its balance of power and price will be similar to the RX 7800 XT and RX 7900 GRE.
You are trying to put words in my mouth-twice now-even after quoting you specifically on what I said to @Gerard .:thumbsdownLol. So AMD could not have managed this any better yes? It is all the fault of the interwebz?
What a disaster, AMD completely bamboozled by a relatively boring NVIDIA lineup.
What were they expecting? The 5070 and 5070Ti from NVIDIA's own data are about 20% faster than the previous gen (plus/minus 5%), for about the same price (plus/minus $50). Totally run of the mill, standard, minimum price/performance increase.
NVIDIA couldn't be more boring if they tried, yet this was enough for AMD to effectively unlaunch their GPUs. Surely they should have prepared for this possibility? If NVIDIA had done something crazy (+50%), I'd understand the panic, but this is just pathetic.
So AMD need to renegotiate with retailers/distributors/AIBs?
