*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Why am I not surprised that people post stuff as fact when the reality was far from the truth? Year in year out on here the same weird pattern, rumour becomes official statement several pages later. Then people get hyped up and ultimately disappointed because "amd said" when in reality they said absolutely nothing of the sort.
My apologies sir, I have clearly done a misquote and I didn't mean to upset you so much! Thank you for setting me straight.

Now, on with more speculation!

Hopefully more $500-$600 but who knows what will happen in the current crazy market, and AMD have a history of ******* up open goals (can't remember one bigger than this)

Hardly an open goal as nvidia have a release the day before which could throw a spanner into the works. Prices could still be in the process of going up or down.

Yeh I am actually expecting it to be £799 tbh

I've got a 9800x3d (stock), and a 6800xt @ 293w both watercooled; and a Asus Rog Thor 850w PSU. This PSU has a watt meter I can use if I take teh side panel off. Running Helldivers 2 I was getting 500w used (including dual D5 pump, 4 NF-A14 gen 2 fans, 5 NF-A12x25 fans all @ 100%). I think I'm good for a 3 power connector card.

If it's £799 I'm not buying I will just get a 6750 or 7700 for my son's pc upgrade to go with the 5700x3d I brought for his bday this week. I've decided no Nvidia for us this time no matter what.

It won't be £799,

I wonder what performance the 9960xt will offer

So these will be $599-$699 cards still?

Hopefully, but if they are more, expect people to wheel out but Nvidia is overcharging too. Then it is another generation IMHO to skip until a good deal turns up.

If it is based on Navi 48 it probably will be a 192 bit 12GB card. It really depends on what the RTX5060TI is - will it be based on the chip in the RTX5070?

But otherwise it might be Navi 44 based so a 128 bit card.

AMD its simple £699 and you will wipe the floor with 5080 downwards, come on do the right thing :D I have to be honest if AMD did not exists then Nvidia with these prices would have killed PC gaming for many, just ridiculous prices for a 5070ti.

be interesting to see what uk does..remember that their price is withought sales tax so should be a tad under is sterling with VAT as exchange rate is 1.26078
What really need to be looked at is these prices with reflect the new tariff emposed by Trump which will be in effect....that tariff doesn't apply to rest of the world so in theory should be at least 10% cheaper now...so the ventus at $909.99 pre tariff would have been $818.99..which equates to £649.59+VAT=£779.50....lets see how they launch

If 9070xt is so efficient why did amd not make a 5080 killer

Big missed opportunity; unless the 9070xt is expensive to make for amd, that's probably the issue I guess, its not that AMD can't compete with Nvidia at the high end, it's that AMD's architecture makes high end too expensive to manufacture

I lean more towards AMD probably expected Nvidia to have significantly more performance uplift than they actually, i don't think they expected Nvidia to essentially have a side grade with 100% of the conversation being about software updates. Knowing what they know now they could easily have released a 4090 beater I think if the leaks are somewhat accurate.
It has surely just got to be in their interests to do their best on the pricing. If they create a greatt mid range solution and it's priced aggressively that is going to hurt NV and their market share far more. The keeping up with the jones' route just won't work as the RTX 4/5 gen cards at the top tier are just insane

This is 100% incorrect, you couldn't actually be more wrong if you tried. AMD's best interest is their shareholders and **** everyone else.

They will price it as high as they can and the fact they can see their 7900xtxs selling for 800-900 doesn't bode well, personally i'm hoping for a 550-600 price for the 7090xt im looking to spend about 700 on a semi-decent midrange AIB but if they launch at 699 or above I donno, for us and sensible people it's time to take advantage of a last of Nvidia stock to smash their competition... for AMD and Shareholders, their competition doesn't have any stock to sell....
Yeh I am actually expecting it to be £799 tbh

It will be, if not officially it will be pre-scalped for our convenience, and they will still sell out.
