*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

I mean lets be real for a second... the only reason AMD are outselling Nvidia are because Nvidia doesn't have any stock and AMD does.... the second they do they will outsell AMD 10 to 1
That and having pricing near MSRP, I can't understand why the 5080 and 5090 are selling out at the stupid prices currently (must be bots)

Is/was the xtx good value, or is Nvidia such bad value now the xtx looks reasonable against it?

Just thinking the 7900xt and xtx were both panned very heavily due to the poor value upon release (even though it wasn't as bad as the YouTubers made out really in comparison to Nvidia). And AMD couldn't shake that off during the product life cycle... Until now... Suddenly geeks and YouTubers are gushing their flaps how good the xt and xtx were/are and the value they brought

The xtx was always seen as decent value versus the horribly priced 4080, the xtx was always slammed for its atrocious launch price

I think its going to land here and start £650 but actually cost that with high end AIB models costing £750.

So a pretty much pointless release then..

The amount of post wars that have occured on this forum because people swore blind that X chip doesn't exist is stuff of legend.

Back to the 7900XTX I think the main reason it wasn't a smash hit on release was the a) the misinformation campaign waged by Nvidia for DLSS and RT b) a reluctance by AIB partners to provide the same level of hardware support as the 6900 series in terms of jump off, high end custom PCB models.

Cyberpunk and Hogwarts shilling really killed off the 7900XTX launch.

Personally i think it was more to do with the launch price of $1k.

If the 9070xt can't match or beat the 5070ti for around 650 (though I reckon AMD will release at 700/ 750) then the card is definitely DOA.

I can't see AMD selling it for £600 or less, they will want to be taking the advantage of higher margins set by Nvidia.

I don't think people be rushing out to purchase for anything less than equivalent and no more than 700.

I did reply to a post about GB202.

I then wrote a whole paragraph as to why I was considering a 9070XT.

How do I DM you? I can't see any option to message you directly.

given that some of the 5070ti are actually going to come in at 799 (although might be a long wait) really am hoping we get sub 750 prices now and good performance
It’s amazing how in this rumour thread we have gone from £450 to £499 to £549 to £599 to £649 to £699 and now £749 for the price of the 9070XT lol. :D:cry:
