From Hero to Zero. Last gen it looks amazing.
I guess they wanted in on the flame generation feature too. But props to Nvidia, very generous of them to give away exclusive features to the competition for the first time.
Why are they comparing the 9070 non XT against the 3080 ? Why not use the 4070 super ? I'm interested to know where does the 9070 non XT land vs the 4070s
I Think 40% is a good improvementYes, that dog hunts. 9070xt (or vanilla) worthy upgrade.
I'm coming from a 6950xt which is around a 7900 GRE in performance, so decent uplift for me as well, especially in RT.
Until UK pricing gets confirmed in a few hours then this trickle of SKUs is what people are gonna talk about.Am i have a get off my lawn moment by not understanding the fixation with how the cards look?
Yeah, I don't like the connector, it has its issues. But the biggest issue is nvidias implementation, on the 5090 using it to pull 600w through a single power plain. I would hope sapphire will not do that. Certainly a 305w card is not a 600w card, we've yet to see how it's set up though. The cable is OK if they put appropriate measures on the board like NVIDIA did with the 3090Ti.

All i care about is how much higher the power targets on each card are.

I'm honestly tempted to sell my 4070s since it's selling for £550/£600 and buy the XT but my mind is telling me don't be stupid. Seriously should I just skip this gen and wait for AMD UDNA ?
The uglier the better if it means those wanting to buy a card as a fashion accessory are no longer interested.Am i have a get off my lawn moment by not understanding the fixation with how the cards look?

Hmmmm..
That 9070XT Reaper will fit in my case, so on my shortlist.
I only have 315mm card length to play with and I suspect a lot of XT’s will exceed that, so good there is a least one that ticks the box for me.

Both RX9070 Reaper cards are under 300MM!
