The 9070 will probably drop quickly, it may well be the yields are good, and thus they're trying to push people to the 9070XT, the 9070 is just there to hit a lower price point. If true 9700 is dead on arrival everyone will get 9700xt just waiting for Nvidia to drop the 5070ti to 650
£599 I'll buy it but 7-800 I'll stick to the usual. The waffle is for the shareholders and for people to pick apart, I'm just hoping the 599 holds true, as that was the dream price for many of us, and even Gibbo yesterday thought it'd be more.
If the cards perform as promised in RT and Raster, even if FSR4 isnt amazing, at £599 they're onto a winner; its a 5070TI at 2/3 of the realworld price.

couple months will tell, expecting a AMD price dropWill the majority still buy the 5070 12gb?
Even if today Nvidia decides to produce nothing else but just having GPUs (not gonna happen), it will take 4+ months to see that supply in stores. Every single GPU itself takes about 3 months to produce. Can’t see dropwell happening. nVidia will just increase supply so they can be sold closer to whatever their base price is. People will pay a bit more for a nVidia card with similar performance.
