Hows that card feeling now?Flipping heck, they delivered the wrong thing.... wanted a 9070 XT

So did AMD score a goal today?![]()
There are no MBA cards, AMD just used them as a reference point.
Probably an upsell to the RX5070XT.
No doubt. Really hope that this is a 'proper' launch where retailers don't see this as an opportunity to inflate prices themselves due to demand as I can see there being significantly more demand for the 70XT than there is for the 70ti. I doubt 70ti prices will come down, more likely XT prices will rise up to close the gap to shift ti stock.I mean anything can happen in this market but I could only see the top end cards being £750-800, though Gibbo’s probably currently sat holding a beer.
Basically where the 5070ti sits lolTLDR where does this sit performance-wise against the 5080? Sorry to be lazy.
Definitely, but it's a missed opportunity to smash Nvidia
Yeah but 8% Overclock required to the 9070XT for stock 5080 FE raster performance (in some games) might give the bods spanking 1350 on a 5080 pause for thought.I reckon the 9070 will oc to xt performance so if xt stock is out, could be the one to get. That's if amd have not put some restrictions on power draw.
For £580 i like this....

Now watch as AMD score an own goal by having about 5 cards available at launch.
Did they give a release date? And any idea of UK pricing? Also want benchmarks as this could tempt me away from my 3080 if performance is good.
Shall i sell my 4070ti super and get the 9070xt?

So far Nvidia is smashing Nvidia better than AMD ever could with all the problems (cables, drivers issues, pricing, availability etc.). It didn't shake their fanbase much, though.Definitely, but it's a missed opportunity to smash Nvidia
Base models at MSRP or closest to MSRP I suspect, and premium added for oc modelsDoesn't make much sense he said in the video about partner cards being able to jump upto 340 watts, so what cards are going to be reference card spec as outlined in the tables?
The cards exist, they're just not for sale xDoesn't make much sense he said in the video about partner cards being able to jump upto 340 watts, so what cards are going to be reference card spec as outlined in the tables?
