Surely you're just better off buying a 7700XT at this point then? 12GB card, only 370ish quid and will be more than enough for DayZ at 1080p.

If the 5070 is anything like the 4070 pricing wise at release you're going to be looking at nearly 600 quid...

Bought one of these for my boy for Christmas. Great card, manages 100fps in Blops6 at 4k. DayZ should be fine on it.

Yea I get over 200fps in DayZ (locked to 120 though, and its constant) with my current GPU but thats helped a lot by the X3D. (Was never this good with the Ryzen 5700X

).

But with DayZ there is some community maps that are poorly modded and creates lag/stuttering, uses more VRAM etc so I just wana make sure I wont need another upgrade before DayZ 2 in around 4-5 years times, thats an educated guess on that release

I mainly play DayZ Namalsk but thats a small map compared to the rest of them.

Also I have thought about 7700XT/7800XT but held off while I was using NVENC on Twitch for Dj'ing. Still waiting for Twitch to give us AV1 streaming.

These things are never simple are they lol

Enjoy mate- I only wish I could upgrade to the 9070XT as well but alas I have a 7800xt that is doing just fine right now.

They've gone complete overkill on the cooling for a GRE-level card, in order to make them seem 'faster' imo.
