With how the new imac looks and if it is going to be using a 56CU vega at 1600MHz (to get 11 Tflops FP32), then vega must run quite cool. The efficiency must be far superior to Fiji and Polaris.

All this means is that before December they must build up stock. Eating into our supply of gaming Vegas.

Well if that's the case then they really should have sorted the issue by then!

Besides, Apple is a drop in the ocean compared to the miner's who will gobble up every single card that they're be able to churn out for months and months...

So, the best way to get a Vega could end up being buying a Mac...

Miners are price/performance conscious. Apple isn't.

Sigh. We STILL don't know a thing about price OR performance. Just that availability will be **** (pushing prices up)
This Vega launch begins to look like a disaster worse than Fiji launch

Miners don't have a contract with Apple to supply x number of GPUs by a certain date.

The HBm2 memory SK hynix is advertising as soon available would give about 400GB/s so not obvious it is Samsung. Sure the code numbers don't match public catalog but there could be reasons for that.

Looks like you missed that the Frontier Edition has 480GB/s, and 16GB.
That's faster than Hynix has in the catalogue, and 8GB modules, also not in the catalogue.

Do you need me to quote the exact words again? it categorically wasn't "just a slip up". When it comes to credibility you have to look at the overall picture. (Not that I'd be particularly given to believing anything that came out of nVidia's mouth at face value but they do kind of have slightly better form on actually delivering of late).
Yes it was a slip up. It was not intended to be used in that way nor was it marketed as a overclocking card because overclocking is not guaranteed. So go ahead quote the words i know perfectly well what was said. However the 970 fiasco was long forgotten about and never held against nvidia when it comes to credibility.
