Whoops! Here's a slightly off topic one yourself and other's might find interesting.
What worries me is that we might end up with such a barebone OS that we're forced to make so many microtransactions that we end up spending a lot more than what we spend on a copy of Window's today.

I'm unsure why the current Vega situation has upset you so much but you really do need to calm down, Spouting innacurate info as a defence doesn't work, The Frontier Edition has been showcased running games a couple of times, Raj Koduri told us that if we want a graphics card for just gaming we should wait for RX Vega, however in the same paragraph he said that if you can't wait for whatever reason The Frontier Edsition will offer an amazing 4k experience. The only person struggling to comprehend the subject matter is the same person that's attacking forum members in this thread. We're all allowed an opinion.
He's been acting like this for day's, I told him he needs to step back and take a knee a few day's ago but he ignored me and continued throwing insult's around.
Exactly it's been made quite clear that the Frontier Edition is a jack of all trades, I'm starting to think that it may be being hamstrung at the moment but we'll have to wait a few more weeks to learn the truth. The way AMD and RTG have handle the whole Vega topic is very insulting. Not just to us the consumer's but also the reviewers they responded to regarding the FE and all those that have bought it already.

That's the only apparent use for it at this time, It does make sense as I found that there were times when Wattman messed around with my Fury Tri-x settings even though I did not use it, I hadn't even signed the disclaimer to get access to it at the time but it still turned my stock auto fan profile into a wind tunnel so in the end I had to agree to the disclaimer and go into Wattman to set a manual fan profile until they fixed it,
With that in mind being able to switch to a software package that is unable to mess with the hardware in that way is a good idea.

Yup, and the Don's continue to do nothing (til it's too late) which isn't surprising. He does need to calm it a lot, takes a ****load of things to heart.

Did the same with me, crazy program! Would just randomly lose settings with my Fury or just change them altogether!!

No surprise, I think that on it's own is enough to justify a driver option without Wattman.

Or putting it another way if you can fit it in a PC, connect a monitor and game on it, it is a gaming card.

Its a GPU guys... I mean come on, I love computer hardware but understand opinions differ, and there is nothing you can do about that, and definitely not worth getting angry or stressed about.

Doesn't quack very well tho does it? its slower per transistor and Mhz than a Fury-X, a lot slower.
Its iether broken or its a card that has the ability to play games but is not designed for it.
I don't know which it is, i do think to stick ones head above the parapet and proclaim one or the other is incredibly foolish.
I'd rather just wait and see.
