I assumes the "Minimum 750w PSU" was hype based on bad PSU's, did some sums and the whole rig pulls 530 at max load, so thought it was worth a punt.
It'll run CP77 / Death Stranding at full wack for hours without blinking, but i get random poweroffs with Tarkov as it's bonkers. Even after swapping to 2 PCIe cables not splitters
(See above abot not being bright)
So now have a nice Corsair RM850i sitting on my shelf ready to go in as soon as I can make the time.

Got sick of waiting and caved in. Ideally I was after a 3080FE but its just too difficult and time consuming to get one right now, so went for this terrible value alternative instead.

i tested my 3090 at the wall doing various things and the whole pc is pushing out less than 500w which i was surprised about.

With my 3090 - my pc shuts down if i run the card at anything more than 108-109%, so i keep it at 106% but i can do that with +150 on the core, kinda quirky.

As far as I'm aware OCUK sell the Trio and Ventus but not the Suprim X (I've not seen it on here anyway)

I do own the KFA2 didn't notice he had the MSI Suprim my bad. Mine's at stock although there is a KFA utility that over clocks it with 1 click. Not bothered yet as it's fast enough for me anyway. Finished last three levels of COD WWII maxed out at 1440p 144fps. I set max frames at 144 in game and monitor frame counter never budged. Amazing TBH and happy it plays so well with my freesync 144hz monitor. That was my only concern in moving from AMD to Nvidia. Just tick G-Sync compatibility in control panel and all is good. Happy times.

I ordered a 3090FE after finally getting a 3080 in a prebuilt system I bought. Decided to keep the 3090 after the 3080 didn’t really feel like an upgrade over my old 2080TI. Plus memory usage was always on the limits at 4K.

The 3080 couldn’t do Cyberpunk or Ghostrunner at the settings I wanted. The extra performance the 3090 gives at 4K feels a world better.

Here’s mine looking not so large in my 750D.

Had to cut out a couple of struts where the PCI slots were though as they were covering the card exhaust.

Very interesting case, not seen one of those before. What's it like for dust? Good blast down with a compressor every couple of weeks? CAved or just wanted to crack on with some high end gaming. I would have probably done the same if I hadn't got a 3080. MOnster card - congrats

Antec Skeleton Case that I got about 10 years ago and I like the unconventional looks although its a pig to work on. Not made any more as they didn't win many popularity contests.

Not too bad for dust as the large fan can help to reduce it a bit and a quick blast of compressed air sorts out any build up as you mentioned.
