What sort of Timespy Extreme GPU scores are you boys getting? This was my Strix OC card at +115 Core and +275 Mem. Temps maxing out at about 76C... anyone know what a safe temp is (I'm quite new to all this)?

76 degrees is fine. Though would have thought it would be however Imagine your on the silent BIOS?

What you will see at 76 degrees though is card stepping down slightly in terms of clock speeds vs it being cooler in 15mhz steps. I expect, with same overclock but fans ramped up or going to performance BIOS with higher fan RPM, you will see a higher and more consistent boost clock.

So yeah TLDR, your temps are safe.

The Palit one was playing up so returned it - as I was putting my 1080ti back in my phone exploded with discord alerts for the FE drop and well... At least this one streams without killing my USB headset and crashing in Stardew Valley o.O

I've just been doing some testing in the new case.

The O11D is configured with two intake fans under the graphics card and three intake on the side. Configured in iCue to ramp up from 500rpm with the GPU in the 30s up to 1500rpm when the GPU his 62c.

This netted me nearly 400 points in Timespy!

For some reason I had a lot of issues with lagging and slow loading on my 3090FE. Battlefront 2 was getting stuck loading, Horizon Zero Dawn's shader compilation took many times longer than my 1080ti, games - especially VR games - were stuttering and severely lagging on startup (almost like texture or shader caching issues or like it was running out of VRAM). The strange thing is that it didn't affect all games, or benchmarks.

I've been tearing my hair out trying to fix it, including reverting to an earlier bios on my X570 Aorus Elite, installing latest MB drivers from AMD's site, reverting back to earlier Nvidia drivers, and re-installing Geforce Experience.

It all seems to be working now, on the latest MB bios and latest hotfix Nvidia drivers, but I'm not sure what step actually fixed it!

Just putting it here in case anyone has similar issues.

Interesting - I thought I'd installed 461.33, but I'm on the 456.38 drivers.

LOL going into one machine though probably not SLI/Nvlink as I don't think that adds much performance to the likes of DaVinci Resolve and is unsupported for most games. Ultimate plan will be to water-cool both of them (I have the EK blocks on order). I use the machine for gaming and mining, 'she' uses it for DaVinci Resolve win-win!

Had a look back through the stock alert discord and it appears I did miss the notification. Shame you can't add a filter to only alert you about FE cards, don't want any of the 3rd party ones. On the plus side it looks like they're dropping stock every 5-6 days (looking at history in said discord), hopefully I don't miss the next one...

I used the FE PartAlert option on Telegram/Discord, set it on on Tuesday night, alerted on Wednesday and bagged a 3090FE...

You can't filter on FE only. Usually only by model. 3090FE is usually easy to bag as stays around for a few hours. For 3080FE need to basically look whenever a ping comes up. Usually cards go up weekdays around 2PM(ISH)

I'm no Discord expert (old school Team Speak 3 user) but I set it up in 5 minutes using the guides in this post --> 30xx Series Founders Edition | Overclockers UK Forums . All I can say is that I joined the PartAlert bot thingy and then 'subscribed' to #founders-edition which only reports on Nvidia's site changing to "In-Stock"...

You can, and I did bud... I joined Telegram's FE PartAlert and Discord's PartAlert #founders-edition bots, bagged a 3090 within 18 hours of setting it up...
