The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

The second season is just as good :)

And the third is pretty good as well:)

If you haven't seen it before you're lucky, as IIRC there was about a 4 year gap between S2 and S3.

Well finished watching InitialD this weekend and thought it was a great ending.

So after that its onto horror and have got these to watch:

Elfen Lied
Gantz
Shiki
Another

I am about 7 eps into Elfen Lied and its very good. Pretty disturbing and dark in places and to be honest the horror, gore and supernatural stuff isnt as disturbing as some of the events goes on in places.

Yeah, it had been on my list to watch for a while, just never got round to it :)

I have so many shows on my list to watch right now, and I haven't even caught up/finished the shows that I have started like Durarara x2, Space Dandy season 1 and zeta gundam :p

There looks to be a new kickstarter for Otoku no video in the works, as I received an email from Robert Woodhead via KS as a BGC backer, it looks like they're going to go with distribution from within the EU for UK customers to avoid customs chargers this time (so rather than $10 shipping and then the risk of £8 + taxes, it'll be $20 shipping with no taxes).

Backed :)

edit: well that's well and truly met its target ...

Aye, I saw that news a few minutes ago..
I think that did it even faster than the BGC one did!

And they're going to do a Riding Bean kickstarter as well now (I'm guessing that having done BGC they've got the backend kinks sorted, and probably a list of titles they want to do).

I can see myself backing Riding Bean as well as Otoko No Video when they put the RB one live.

Wish I could afford to do that :(

Finished the second season of Psycho pass last night, it was pretty good :) Makes me want to watch more cyberpunk/sci fi anime :)

I should really finish watching ergo proxy too, anyone recommend any other anime in the cyberpunk genre? (of course, I know about Akira and GITS already ;) )

Gf and I rinsed 20 episodes of Death Note over the weekend, love it!

I know it was a filler episode, but for some reason the episode that sticks in my mind the most was the one where the whole episode is him chatting up this girl in the street and trying to get her name. I found it super tense for some reason

Pender's widow? That was where I joined the story (gf had watched the first few eps and said I should watch too ).

Got 5 episodes left, but felt like it peaked and should have ended at 25, getting a bit weird and tiresome now, the whole story arc is messed up. :/

My Nadia blu-ray set shipped earlier today, so hopefully I'll be watching some of that this week (assuming I have time).

Also, I saw this on the Guardian site and it made me go "aww, cute and awesome bird"

I've started to watch older Anime I've had downloaded for a while now.

On with Ergo Proxy atm, not watched a show like this one before. Would recommend it to people if you want a show that gets you thinking rather then all out action.

I hope so, although I'm what my brother calls a Hobby idiot.
I upgraded to the pack with the model...I like models, even if I've got far more waiting to be painted than painted (I've got several AMG resin busts/figures sat on the shelf untouched, several of the Range Murata things, and that's before I start on non anime models).

Is there anything good coming up in the Summer schedule?

I've enjoyed JoJo, Fate and Assassination Classroom (which was my favourite) but they've finished and need something to fill the gap.
