I completely skipped the mugen train arc season and went straight into watching the entertainment district.
If there was extra footage then great but I doubt it would be worth re-watching that arc again if you have seen it in movie form.
Kinda like what Toei has done with Dragonball Super, they aired Beerus and Resurrection F as a film then as episodes, practically 1-1 copy.

From what I understand it's about an extra 20 min of footage in the season, but sure if you saw the film you basically saw all of the season.

It gets better and then the latest Arc, the hidden sword village for me it kind of flatline in terms of "excitement" factor.
Which isn't a bad thing, its just there isn't a super epic dramatic moment that happens in the Hidden village arc.

Isn't that the last arc? I finished the manga last year and ending was lackluster.

I’ve watched the first 3 in 1 sitting this week and it’s been excellent. I mean the premise isn’t new, a little bit of the “I got a cheat code something from another world“ but I like the twist in the daily challenge at the moment, it should throw up / force something interesting that is new.
