The Apprentice

I feel a little sorry for her on this one, she was the only member of the group who was prepared to put her neck on the line and say she didn't like their idea. However, that still doesn't get over the fact that I don't like her generally.

Did anyone think the result of last weeks episode was beyond belief (the selling fruit episode)?

I mean ffs - the girls took the **** out of the distributors, scavved rotten fruit and gave it away. They made a grand, yes - but that is not how I do business and that grand would still be there at the end of the month - its just not sustainable.

When I work I look after people who do me favours and they look after me back - the boys made a couple of hundred quid but I guarantee you in a real situation they'd continue to do so and even make steady gains.

Selling rotten fruit for a premium isnt going to give them much loyalty in a competitive environment - even if you get better stuff in, the damage is done.

Its all gone to Sugar's head ffs

God that curley haired woman is madder than a box of frogs. I bet she played a fair bit in driving her bosses mad and taking down MG.

I honestly can't accept that these are the best and brightest in business in this country.

I do better presentations than that at uni and I don't consider myself anywhere near the best.

And do none of them have any idea of how to talk to the buyers and Alan. They all interupt, talk louder and have little respect. The annoying curly haired woman even swore in the boardroom, i mean w... t.. f...?

Joe is a nutter but Nargis is absolutely awful and I'm glad they got rid of her.

She couldn't present, she turned on Karen, and she evidently didn't direct the team to create a useful calendar because what they produced was a useless pile of crap.

And the boys....I couldn't believe they won because they were horribly unorganised and that guy who did the presentations....as a management consultant he's obviously used to sucking up to self-absorbed management types and his speech was full of jargon which reflected that.

Frankly, I'm amazed how you can put a bunch of intelligent people together and get such crap results. I suppose it's because they're all extrovert, all competing, all want to be correct. Which is why in real-life situations you get a good mix of people to complete tasks.

I think you're right, when you get a group of people together that all think they're right, all should lead and all are unwilling to follow anyone else this is what you get!

I was watching the presentation thinking surely it cannot be that bad (Womens one), with all the pauses etc. It was probably not great, but that looked edited a lot, I mean her presentation was 15 seconds each time?

Can't believe how much worse than last year these bunch of emotional, inarticulate wannabe failures are.

I couldn't agree more. I've seen nothing yet that would lead me to believe any member of either team would last more than 5 minutes with me. Someone had better start to show some ability, rather than just ego, or the whole series will be a farce.

Or is that the idea?

Has this gone from a semi-serious idea to just more 'reality' TV?

Anyone know the location of the housemates house? I presume this is still being filmed or there'd surely be leaks - we could go and visit them :)

Pretty sure it'd all filmed beforehand, I remember last series several of the contestants had their own websites with information about their departures on "before" they had actually left.

I think like it has been said there are a lot of driven leaders all trying to work in a team. Always difficult. They're not all bad anyway. I like that Paul guy. Seems to know his stuff, is grounded and makes me laugh as well!! I think as the weeks go buy, the quality people will start to shine and an obvious winner will prevail.

It's still the best thing on TV right now!
