Read what it says in the bios!
That setting is NOT for the AGP/PCI speed it's for the CPU/PCI-e.
The AGP/PCI speed is locked by default and there is nothing you can do to change it with any official bios.

We've just built a mates pc based on one of these boards, he's stuck on agp4x for some reason... and it wont post above 260fsb even with OCWB7 bios. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks :)

Would my old GForce4 MX 440 64mb work in the AGP slot? If not whats the cheepest decent agp/pci-e card i can put in to play something like wow in the mean time untill i get my x1800xt :)

Reet...

I took all my stuff around to my mates place and tested it on his system..
My CPU is fine and so is the memory..

Therefore I think my board is goosed... :(

Oh well.. I'll just have to buy an Xpert board :)

Oops this was me at my mates place.

For some reason the board still won't boot..
I even changed the processor to a 3500 and swapped the ram around as well as clearing cmos.

Its a wierd problem..
No worries though.. just should my 6800GT for £100 and gonna get a DFI.

Don't get me wrong.. this board was awesome when it worked.
But it stopped working, overnight, for no real reason. :(

Bad luck :( I just ordered one and you now made me worry !

Anyone know why it wont go over 265 fsb even at slackest ram timings (ddr 266)... I have set the link speed right by putting them both to 600 haven't i? IE 3x htt?

odd problem that.

My full settings were -

HTT - 250
Multi - 10x
Vcore - 1.35v

HTT link - 800Mhz
CPU, PCIe Async
Memory at the 166 divider

And it was working - 2 hours through a sp2004 session with no problems.
Then I tried to check my email and it rebooted to a black screen.

That was the last screen in windows I saw..

Mine doesn't like link speeds of 600; crashes; boot problems at almost any htt setting, but will run happily at 270 with link speed of 800. I've tried just about every BIOS thats out there and it won't run 600 with any of them. ATM am using OCWbeta7.

I also have this problem with my x2 3800+. It will go to 2.65ghz and be prime stable at 1.5V. If I put it to 2.66 it won't boot into windows, not even with 1.55V.
I have tried the ocwbeta2 bios but it didn't help. I thought it was my cpu, now i'm thinking it might be the board.

are you sure its not the ram thats the limitation? best to do isolation tests. first up the htt in sync with the ram but lower the cpu multi to remove the cpu from the initial tests. that way you can keep running memory tests and find out if your ram is the limitation.

best to use memtest86+ test 5 and 8. 8 is very good at finding out if your command rate is stable.

Just got this board sitting on my bed with my Lian-Li...I can only see one case fan plug on mobo, can it only support one fan?

On bios chip it says 1.5 i think:)

Hi,

Yes it can only support, 2 fans, one for the CPU and one for a case fan. If you need more connectors you'll have to get some 3-pin to 4-pin converters. Hope this helps

Anyone know how I get the Power LED on my Antec SLK1650-B to work with this mobo? According to the mobo manual, there are 2 pins for it, but the cable from the case uses 3 pins. Here is what the Power LED connector looks like:

No idea what the S and the arrow mean though. Don't see any + and - signs on it as well.

I had the same problem; just cut it in the middle so you can plug it in
