You asked for it, here it is...the super carrier...there are many like it but this one is MINE!!!!

Looking all sexy on my test bench!!!

[filthy porn]

This just got serious! :D
Believe us, these are going on the Facebook page. That Streacom bench table is pretty sleek as well. :)

Don't bother.

Bought a different board
Sorry for the slow reply, they are in stock with a distributor in the UK, but you'd need to contact a reseller to request one if it's not listed anywhere. Replying in case anyone else has the same question.

@AsrockMB Can you please let us know what the mosfets/vrm's are on the AB350 Gaming K4 and the PRO 4 please? There is some debate that they are subpar in quality even though you have higher phases than most other manufacturers B350 boards. (And I am keen to get either the K4, or the PRO 4).

Thanks.
Will ask the guys with the drawings - please hold. :)

No worries, I actually bought.....

ASRock J3355B-ITX 2DDR3(SOD)/2S3/GL M-ITX Motherboard

could you find out for me though why it is advertised as
  1. Intel® Dual-Core Processor J3355 (up to 2.5 GHz)
and yet when be pushed to 100% usage it will go to 2400mhz, which is 24x100.

Shouldn't it be 25x100 for 2.5Ghz....?

This is when it is stressed tested.

Thanks

Finally got around to putting my Ryzen Taichi build together.

50jcotG.jpg
Taichi in and some cabling done.

OHeKHj4.jpg
Coolermaster Master Liquid 240 now in place, I changed the fans that came with it to 2 x Akasa Apache Blacks, much quieter and push a lot more air.

eptZuxE.jpg
Everything put together, I know the GPU is yellow, but it'll get replaced with a RX580 or a Vega soon, and I'll have to try and find one with the correct aesthetics :D

CkIlxoO.jpg
Blooming Cooler Master and their upside down logo's! But it's all lit up and most importantly, posting! Went straight into my old windows install and working fine. Just need to fresh format it now. Thought I'd post this first :D

Also applied a mild OC to 3.6GHz on stock volts. Will push that further once I've got Windows all sorted out.

The Avexir Core White 32GB kit worked out the box at it's stock 2400MHz as well, not bad for 2 x DR 16GB Hyinx sticks. Should be able to get that to 2666MHz at least with a bit of playing.

Thanks. Can't find it in white and in stock anywhere though!

Yeah just had a look for you, seems they've all vanished! I bought mine from OCUK about a month ago and they've been sat in the cupboard waiting for the Taichi to arrive. Between then and now they've all been snapped up.

Just done a quick and dirty OC to 3.9GHz @ 1.35V. Seems game and Cinebench stable, will give it a proper test later. Literally just changed the multi and bunged 1.35V in and that's it, straight into windows.

Onwards to 4GHz and then proper stability testing! :D

Here you can find some information about the VRMs of all AM4 boards in the market.
It's in German, but Google Translate works well. :)

Hi @AsrockMB

It's good to see that there is some stock in now for most of the AM4 range. Do you have any ETA for the X370 Professional Gaming? Even if it's days/weeks/months! My first board died and has been accepted over a week ago for RMA but there isn't any stock for a replacement. :(

Thanks!

That's a good looking build! I think the braided cables really add to the aesthetics.

Mine is all black apart from the motherboard graphics, white motherboard LEDs and my multicoloured RGB RAM.

@AsrockMB any more info on the 2yr warranty? it's a bit lacking compared to other manufactures..
I can't offer you a straight up honest, factually correct answer on this, but price is definitely one consideration. If AMD keeps doing well with their CPUs, the higher-end boards should also see 3/5 year warranties in the future. This is nothing we have info on for now though, just a theory at the moment.

Will check up on this. Sounds odd. Are we right to assume you're using the latest BIOS?

EDIT: On second thought - it doesn't sound too odd - the 2.5GHz figure is most likely for one core, while both cores run at 24x when loaded simultaneously. Can you verify with for example wPrime? (You can set thread count manually to see the difference between 1/2t.)

Yup, only the release BIOS available.

Someone else noted......

my Asrock J3455-ITX is doing the same as your J3355, during multicore stress testing in prime95.

it should hit 2.3GHz, but I'm only seeing 2.2GHz (multiplier x22)

I just wanted to provide some feedback on the Taichi X370 board as I was a bit nervous with Ryzen and Ram after reading other people's general experiences. I shouldn't have been as this board is flawless, I currently have my Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C (2x8 GB sticks) working at 3200 with just selecting the xmp profile (this is on the bios it came with v1.50). I also did a quick CPU overclock to 3.7ghz at stock voltage and everything is buttery smooth with no issues.

I definitely recommend this board!

I can confirm I'm definitely pleased with mine and would recommend it as well. No major issue experienced and achieved a good overclocking very easily with my 1700X :)

@welshboy Thanks mate. I got the 1700 cpu, will be messing around with overclocking a little bit later as I need to do a clean windows install. Congrats on the purchase and you won't regret it, I was in the same boat as you mulling it over due to general ryzen issues reported but glad I did. I have also yet to flash the MB to the latest BIOS which I am sure will also yield further improvements and refinement.

@Kavalier definitely happy with mine

@Chewie what overclock did you achieve, voltage, temps, is it on stock cooler (will probably keep the stock cooler until more brackets become available)
