I don't actually have a lot to do to it, just for the board, and plug everything in, all cable management was done last week so should take me around half hour

Did a double take today when putting my CPU in the socket. Text on the CPU is upside down to the rest of the mobo. Found myself checking the gold triangle and the triangle on the socket like 5 times.. For some reason I always hate that part of a new build.

I'm getting a 6F error when trying to boot up, is that an error with an overclock? Tried loads of things and also removed the battery, still can't boot, even into the bios.

Any ideas?

Have you changed any switches/jumpers? first boot i think should be stock settings to make sure all ok?

Damn this cutting edge tech malarky , all you who have been holding off should be well happy lol , next time im gona wait for a stable platform before i buy

Flashed to the latest bios which is 0603, swapped the memory around and just loaded optimised default settings, all working good now

sorted my missing 8 gig now, reseated the cpu and re tim and all back to 16gig

You guys with the 5930 and the rampage what sort of temps are you getting at idle? Mine sits at 17 - 19 on average and struggles to get past 40 on load. This is totally at stock. My temps seem a bit too good.

Mine is really consistent with average temps across all cores, quite surprised tbh!
