Hi all still here still have my monitor not sent it back as off yet ,

Just wanted to know if any one that as one is getting the message "OUT OF RANGE"...

At desktop nvidia control panel G-SYNC is enabled how ever when i enter BF4 I get the this message out of range then and get just a yellowish light on monitor button not red.

I drop to desktop to confirmed that G-SYNC is enabled and yes its ON!!! , Hello whats going on ASUS / NVIDIA . As i have said in many other posts here .. To me G-sync does not seem like its working as i can't tell whether its on or off.. just feels the same to me what ever way . On i see no tearing off i see no tearing all seems smooth .But at this point i am getting this message "OUT OF RANGE" .

Kinder takes me back to when i had my SAMSUNG S27A750D 120hz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBnlLvqC-1A

Display port only monitor had nothing but problems with that from day one ,

So, after much procrastination I decided I would order one of these only to find the product has been removed from the store.

I'm guessing too many pre-orders and not enough monitors in the pipeline to satisfy them?

I had an email from manuelg @nvidia trying to help me out with my problem but he cant reply due to this forum not sending out confirmed activation after him joining up , So if you are reading this manuelg I have left a reply on the Evga forums where you replied to me but i can not PM you back due to me not having many post there ..

Thank you ..

I am really starting to wonder if the G-sync needs a firmware upgrade or just this monitor in General .. Reason I say this is because well ,Some's time there is the message out of range some times G-sync red light will come on and some times wont and both ways feel the same when playing games , All so I from out that when the monitor comes on it just come's on really fast know wait time nothing ..But i found out by leaving the monitor on and pulling out the power then putting it back in there is a boot up screen with a message Republic of gamer's as shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAekItkzNuM&feature=youtu.be now this as left me wondering when you press the power button this message should appear so why is it not showing , The monitor boots too fast ?

Asus web site is now update to this http://www.asus.com/Monitors/ROG_SWIFT_PG278Q/

The monitor does indeed come on instantly, I've not pulled power on it since getting it and every time I turn it on it's instant (which I love). Sorry to hear about the issues your having, hopefully you can get it sorted out. Certainly seems isolated as I've not had a single problem with mine.

If I'm to be honest mate, I simply don't understand why you didn't take it back straight away. I'm sure if any of us had experienced anything but perfection for our ~700 GBP then we would have done the same.

In the meantime definitely buy a new cable as suggested. You may also need to consider the fact that you PC is the root cause as it seems as though you have had issues in the past. Do you have another computer that you can plug the monitor into?
