Hope my swift isn't on its way out, just switched itself off and on whilst I was gaming.
I think I'm going to try the Samsung LS29E790C 29-Inch!! ;\
Nice monitor although it is very over priced imo, you can get the IPS versions, one of which has freesync and is 75HZ for less than £300 and the AOC 34" 3440x1440 for £100 more than the Samsung 29"
Hopefully.... although the 34" is still very expensive and it has been out for quite a while now :/
It was £900 at once?!
iirc the pre-order price was £700 (at least @ocuk anyway), it needs to drop to at least that again.
Saying that, a lot of the monitors these days are over priced imo.
So, I have just received replacement no 5 after a battle with ASUS over serial numbers. Guess what, it's faulty. Not only that, it was filthy. There was no cover on the IO port on the back. I rang customer support and they said it sounded like I had been sent a panel that was obviously "awaiting" repair!!

I went through 4 Swifts.
1st one developed dead and stuck pixels 3 days after purchase.
2nd Swift Flickered upon arrival
3rd Swift had loads of stuck pixels, Was literally covered in filth and absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke.
4th Swift had really bad flickering and a handful of dead and stuck pixels.
I ended up getting a full refund.
Asus are using sub par panels with these monitors, They should not develop so many faults mere days after purchase.
