:D

I expect that a "The Wisdom of Kenny......" version will be along soon. :p

He never claimed United players shouldn't play for their team anymore mind you :p

Also the Keane didn't have anything to do with ending Haaland's career, he still assaulted plenty of footballers saying that though.

For all the talk about Tevez I don't think Man City really need him, Aguero plus Dzeko/Balotelli is the frontline, if they get desperate they can resort to one up top with support from Silva/Nasri/Johnson/Toure. As for next season they'll have Adebayor as well so I can only imagine Tevez is itching to come back and:

1) Make sure he gets his bonus for winning the league.
2) Score a couple of goals and drum up interest in terms of future employers.

Considering the earlier stance of Tevez never being welcome at City again and will never play for the first team and Mancini's turn around here, its VERY clear which side is requesting help from who.

City have been cack for 2 months, they've thrown away a HUGE lead and let a pretty average Utd get right back in the fight and Spurs aren't out of the equation yet, all with one "meh" performance after another.

They can't resort to one up top with Yaya/Silva/Nasri in support because, all three of those players have been the most disappointing and in the worst form in the past 2 months. Yaya looked decidedly tired and unimposing again last night and in crucial game, got taken off due to being so ineffective and tired looking.

He looked tired before xmas, played poorly for a month then went to the ACN, expecting him to come back in top form and not looking even more tired was always a little daft.

What was completely expected was, when the chips were down, Milner and Barry aren't even close to good enough to carry the team, Silva has never been picked up by a "top" team before because he's inconsistent and doesn't fight in tough games, and same for Nasri in his whole time at Arsenal. Messi is in bad form, but he runs and closes down as much as anyone else in the team while Silva aimlessly jogs around doing not much of anything.

They can still win it, but someone with a bit more fight, experience, consistency would help them quite a lot.

Kenny needs to watch his halo doesn't slip and strangle him on the way down.

What's ridiculous is its another "Fergie attacking LIverpool" defence of Liverpool. Liverpool fans and their everyone can only say bad things against us stance. Fergie was DEFENDING Liverpool and saying Suarez is hurting their image, firstly, he couldn't damage their reputation unless they had one. He is clearly saying Liverpool are too good for a POS like Suarez, and he's bang on.

People having affairs or banging prostitutes is neither here nor there, affairs aren't illegal, many people have them, more people seem to have them than not we just pretend most people don't and pretend its terrible when people do.

As for Rio currently at Utd is he hurting their reputation by REPEATEDLY doing stupid things that hurts their reputation, no, did Cantona, no, has Giggs, no, has Rooney..... definitely the closest, Keane, no.

This is the issue EVERY player has done something questionable, there is a handful of players that do something almost every game that really do damage the reputation of the club that insists on defending their every disgraceful act.

People are also getting the very basic thing wrong, Suarez is a disgrace, he is a disgrace to Liverpool and its CLEAR AS DAY to everyone that people continue to question Liverpool's defence of Suarez and how they are conducting themselves, he IS hurting their reputation, what Fergie has said about getting rid of him is, both good advice to Liverpool, and not remotely close to anything but defending the fact that Liverpool should be represented by a BETTER class of player.

no he wasn't defending us, surely you know the way he twists things to try and make himself look the nice guy when deep down he is just having a dig

Well not necessarily, Tevez may have asked to come back. He will be then again legally allowed to pick up his wages and get himself fit for next season.
I think the whole team bar Hart has been in very bad form and we are lucky we had a lead going into it.

The return of Yaya will be a big boost, he now has 10 days? For a rest before Blackburn. The return of Balo also will be good for the team.
I think Tevez will come back, cant see him playing as our 3 strikers have done well this year and it will take him a month or so to get back to match fitness. Who knows though.

Fergie basically said that with the history that Liverpool FC has, Suarez clearly doesn't belong or deserve to be a part of that, and I think that is correct. The other things he said are besides the point really but I agree that he was having a slight dig (who can blame him though, there is a clear and historical rivalry between the two clubs and Kenny would do exactly the same had it been the other way around).

Suarez is a great player but to be fair he is tainting LFC's image more and more as time passes. Remember that Kenny Dalglish used to be the club ambassador and now he's being made to look a complete fool. It's starting to look like self destructive behaviour a la Tevez.

10 days, a flight, a huge loss to get over and being shattered two months ago, 10 days doesn't suddenly make sure he won't be tired or that his form will return.

As for Tevez, it's really very simple Mancini "He'll never play for us again"...... Mancini "yeah, he's coming back, he'll probably play some part".

IF Mancini's isn't the stance that changed...... what would be the point in him coming back. Tevez still trained for a while but Mancini made it clear he would never play him which is why Tevez left. If Mancini still wouldn't play him it makes absolutely no sense for him to come back, for the money, maybe though he's clearly more than rich enough. However that wouldn't change Mancini's stance.

Tevez didn't seem to like Mancini since he took over, and wanted to leave in the summer and that never effected Tevez playing or working hard, he only stopped when Mancini refused to play him. Mancini has once again made a u-turn, a huge one, one that undermines everything he said since "the incident" and it really can only be described as desperation.

Yeah, Liverpool are too good for a player as disgraceful as Suarez...... what a terrible dig.

You would think what he might say is... in having a dig, that Suarez suits Liverpool perfectly. No in a way to twist words and appear to be a nice guy he went out of his way to make it clear Liverpool are better than a player like Suarez.... cunning old fox is SRF (Sir Red Face). Complimenting Liverpool when he could just have a go at them, its ingenius.

Did i say that? or are you making things up?

Well Mancini isn't going to turn around say yeh hes coming back but i am not going to play him. He has probably been told that Tevez is coming back as we are sick of everything that is going on, so he will be in training and if you feel the need he can play.

Tevez has incentive to come back, the wages being one and also to get himself properly fit and rebuild his image a little more to AC etc.

Desperation! seriously?
