Webb's performance on Sunday was diabolical. It's all if's and but's;
But if Cisse was wearing a Manchester strip, that over the line debate, would have been given by Webb, the blatant shirt pull would have been a Penalty. And If Van Persie was in a black and white shirt, he would have seen the elbow...
The linesman made the goal line call, not Webb. And it was the correct call, so why mention it? Both teams had an act of violence missed, so again - equal luck here. As for the shirt pull, referees ignore them every match, every week - why do some people only see when we benefit?
So if that game is your best example of favouritism, your argument is pretty weak. Besides, for the first 20 minutes when NUFC couldn't touch the ball, MU players were hacked down repeatedly with no punishment given. Compare some of those tackles to what earnt Kagawa a yellow and perhaps you will realise Webb is just another average to poor referee who makes mistakes. But then of course you wont. That chip on your shoulder will sit far too comfortably for you and all the others who bang on about bias despite evidence to the contrary.

Opens his article with a "fact" that is actually an opinion so must be a Liverpool fan.
For all I know, he could be making some good points but I'm fairly sure all the big sides benefit from referee decisions more than the smaller ones and by discussing United in isolation the article is meaningless.

Its almost a carbon copy of the previous article, again eluding to "cryptically agreeing to retire", based off the other article which claimed that wiki said he agreed to retire and questioning what that meant.
Of course, Wiki didn't say that, the first article was complete bull start to finish with a few facts thrown in to make the wild claims seem almost possible. Then the second article is using the first as "fact" and continuing the claims.

Harsh. As much as I can't stand his punditry, he was a talented footballer.
'Arry has gotten by for years on being an over rated manager, he's average at best but his media connections have always given him an easy ride even when things were going wrong.
Jamie was a talented footballer too, nothing outstanding but a good footballer who was plagued by injuries for yonks. I remember him at L'pool and him being pretty good when he was fit.
