What can anyone do for the bloke, I just think he's pretty much beyond help sadly 
Football was all he ever knew, without being able to play he's got nothing to keep him busy and out of the pub, doesn't help he's probably got an endless supply of people willing to buy him a drink so he doesn't even need to pay for most of them.

Why doesn't he just move away to a place that doesn't allow the sale of alcohol? Like Iran?
He's got as much chance surviving there as he does if he carries on here. It's such an utter shame, but that goes for anyone that battles with alcoholism.
