He hasn't been that bad this season but we were going to shift him sooner or later as we're full of MF's, wonder if they fancy taking Malouda in a 2 for 1 deal?

Liverpool were close to taking Sturridge on loan apparently but Remy failed a medical (heart problem?) with us so we kept him which looks to be why they got snookered in the striker dept.

I really don't understand why Liverpool could not have increased the bid by 1 or 2 million.

I understand that it is risky, but what if we now don't even qualify for next season's Europa League then that will be even worse (financially).

Also everyone knows that Liverpool needs a striker, so when January arrives prices will be inflated.
