Ship's definition of the 'archetypal' Liverpool supporter is for me the definition of any football fan. So really its the definition of the 'archetypal' team supporter, no?

His definition isn't the same though, he included your rating of ferguson, which had nothing to do with what ship said in generalizing Liverpool fans.

Not a football fan, a Fanatical Football Fan.

The crazies who live, breath and bathe in their respective club. Those who consider a dig towards a player of their club, irrespective of the justification, to be in line with getting a broken nose, even if you did just feel up the other bloke's girlfriend...

In that case I pity other teams fans if they aren't passionate about their club.

There is a limit to how you should support your club though, I wouldn't say they aren't passionate, in fact what you're saying is nearly if someone doesn't agree with everything being positive for the club and negative against they aren't passionate enough.

Hahaha!

Blind faith does not equal passionate, nor does someone who can take a bigger look at the football club less passionate.

Passion can manifest itself in different ways.

What an utterly ridiculous thing to say.

And yet Tom is getting all het up about my comments re Fergie. Hang on maybe he is a archetypal Liverpool fan ;)

Getting away from all the other crap that's been posted in the last page or so, did somebody really say that any player would be able to take the ball down like Suarez did for his goal? :o

as for ignoring the rest yeah it must be rubbish considering the majority agree Suarez's was better.

I won't tell you you are talking crap if you don't make massive sweeping generalizations about our support?

The majority being the Liverpool supporters? I'm sure me saying this will provoke someone to speak up but so far I haven't seen any 'neutrals' comment on which goal was better (for the record and because I haven't said it yet I do concede Suarez's was a very good goal)

I do stick by what I said about the Liverpool supporters though, the only person on this forum that doesn't tick all the boxes for what I consider to be a typical Liverpool supporter is Pigeon.

Oh the irony :o

Everything you said (well quoted shipinabottle say) applies to you and Utd.

You're famous for coming out with 'you think you know better than Fergie' type posts every time somebody criticises Utd or telling everybody not to believe everything they read every time there's something negative about Utd in the press, obviously you don't follow that when it's either pro-Utd or negative about either Liverpool or City of course.

edit: I thought that type of crap was exclusive to likes of grimm and cm but it seems as if you're a member of their special club.

Tom I honestly don't care whether you or anybody is blinkered or bias but for you to come out with a cheap dig just because you didn't agree with somebody was beyond pathetic.

edit: and you quoted him discussing the merits of goals from outside the area compared to goals like Suarez so if that wasn't the reason why you came out with your pathetic comment, care to explain what the reason was?

Lol leave me out of it :p

Not sure why you're on a personal crusade against me anyway.

Where was there a cheap dig? Again if you're referring to what I said initially to Newbie that had nothing to do with a simple disagreement over which was a better goal but more his general tone, his holier than thou attitude when talking to shipinabottle and the fact that no sooner did he finish lording it over a Liverpool player was he in another thread saying Fergie doesn't cut the mustard.

EDIT: In reference to your edit the above should clear up why I took offense to him

Also lol at rest

What do you mean lol at the rest? What's wrong with Pigeon? :p
