Don't united fans bitch about him at least once a week anyways :p?

That is obviously different ;)

It's a bit like what was mentioned earlier, I forget who by, when some fans are faced with critism of an aspect of their club they blindly defend them regardless of how deserving of critism they are :o

Tribalism :p

Thank God for the Society of Black Lawyers, they'll take offence for you whether you're offended or not, don't you worry.

Chelsea have finally made a yearly profit under RA - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/20270934
According to their statement they made a £28.8m profit in transfers too which just goes to show the effect amortising accounts has, which as I've said before, is the reason they'll be able to comply with FFP.
Mind you, winning the CL helped a bit, just have to do it every year :p

Who did you sell between the 1st July - 30th June?

edit: I can't think of anybody that was sold for a fee to possibly make up that £29m

And assuming it's the figure for profit on player sales (as included on the accounts), it won't include the amortisation bill.

Only Alex, Anelka & maybe Zhirkov as far as I know, that doesn't mean that that's the only money we had coming in from transfers as there may have been installments owed from previous seasons and the like.

They were all released on frees though. Installments from previous transfers (assuming they were guaranteed installments and not performances related add-ons) would have already been booked on the accounts when the player was sold. I'm not certain how/where performance related add-ons are recorded but I can't see those making up £29m anyway.

We'll have to wait until the accounts are released but it sounds like a bit of spin to me and I can only think it includes wages of players that have left.

You know things are bad when Cesar would rather go to QPR than you.

Well to be fair, if he was at Arsenal he wouldnt be sitting at the bottom of the table;). Methinks its because Arsenal didnt want to pay his absurdly hig wages whereas QPR were more than happy to do so.

Meh doesnt matter as hes not as good as he was a few yrs ago, coming to the end of his career. He would have made an excellent backup to Chessers in all honesty.

Ibra now has 12 goals in 14 games with 5 assists. That's incredible considering he's playing for a new team in a new league.

It would be more impressive if he wasn't playing in the french league and for arguably the best side in there. Gervinho ripped the french league apart so I didn't have too much concern that he would rinse that league.
