The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Well I enjoyed the OcUK wrecking train last night. Also it looks like my keyboard has recovered from the wounds it suffered at the battle of Mclaren vale. :)

Just downloaded BF3 after installing BF4 again and trying iy out with the new patch uninstalled it again after a few matches.

Whats the state of BF3 anyone still playing it? Never played it on PC

They should have removed the whole game, that would have gotten rid of all the bugs.

I agree!!

Remove the existing game & deploy CTE!

I personally prefer the way BF3 plays. It's accurate and still great for run 'n' gun. TDM on Noshoir is a fav of mine too!

Haha, has DICE rustled your jimmies Josh

They have slightly annoyed me yes, last night felt much better though.

Loving the AsVal now, just needs an extra 4 rounds in the mag. The L86 at range is a beast, was dropping people at over 250m with ease

Just going to take a while to get used too, the UCAV/Mortar nerf alongside the SRAW nerf was way OTT but I will just have to improve with the other kits. It's made camping a whole lot more easy now, find a roof and you are golden.

yup, game is very much still alive but still has the annoying issues like dying behind cover and flakey hit detection with high ping players.

I'm still playing it, and loving it. I play with a North America clan and ping is around 110, doesn't give me any issues.
We could do with some more players at the moment though I must admit, GTA seems to have knicked a load. I would link my clan but am not sure it's allowed on here.

I'd love to be in a clan but from my experience most take things too seriously when playing pub matches. Besides in BF3 my accuracy is shockingly bad even with the noob rifle (m16a3) but I still rack loads of kills and have a high'ish spm in games. Maybe I should enlist the help of clan members to help improve my accuracy as I tend to run out of bullets often now I swapped the amo perk for cover.

Just looking at my last game:

Accuracy 17% - That's awful. :( If it was around 23% I'd be chuffed to bits as that's ESL God Like. :D

I wouldn't really worry about accuracy in bf games, I've had rounds where I've had 27% + accuracy and rounds where I've had 15% or less accuracy but regardless of what my accuracy has been, I still have a similar k/d and usually in the top 3, imo bf games are more about positioning and tactics than quick reactions and precise aiming, of course having a good aim and being quick is beneficial, especially in game modes like TDM and competitive matches but for pub conquest etc. 32 VS 32, it doesn't matter as much imo.

That an94 is so damn op on burst fire mode, seriously I think it is the most OP weapon in bf 4 EVER.

And yeah thanks to the retarded ucav, mortar nerf, the roofs are now full of camping *****

I hate siege of shanghai with a ****ing passion, roof campers galore all the damn time, must say though, the game was quite fun once I joined you lot on the ground and capping their home flags. There was no point using the tank as you couldn't push past B flag due to the rockets from roof tops. If it weren't for us, our team would have been base raped within 5 minutes.

Thought I'd ask here if anyone else is having this. Every so often and complete randomly it seems, my game is completely freezing visuals and audio for 2 to 3 seconds before carrying on as normal. I look at MSI afterburner and i get a complete drop to 0% usage on both CPU cores and GPU.

This has only started happening since the spring patch and I was on AMD driver 15.4 to start with but just updated to 15.5 and its the same.

Is anyone else having this problem? Happened 3 times tonight in rough 2 1/2 hours playtime.

Normal suggestion is to see if it has the max power limits in afterburner. I had it occasionally a while ago and the above fixed it.

It's not an overclock it just lets the card pull more if it's needed.
