You know you see all these 'noob' posts in the BF forums about hackers, etc, but it's really true. I'm seeing at least 1 hacker per day now, destroying a server. And all this **** you see on the forums from people saying 'uhhh, I've never come across one' is just bs. The system they've implemented is clearly failing. Because to see 1 per day is a massive fail. It just seems like hacking is more endemic now since no one really gives a toss about this game anymore.

And Fanatic, you can vouch for me since you saw the hacker when you joined my server 2 nights ago.
 
if you setup a server with procon plugins 99.9% hackers will be kicked before they even are able to join.

but default EA server then yes maybe.

Yup I was there, I saw. I just stayed in tanks all round so he couldn't insta kill me :).

A few of the BF4 YouTubers said it, "it's the game time". Hacker gets banned and they just make a new Origin account and start playing for free again right away.

For me I see a hacker probably every few days. Need admins (good admins..) on the server really to kick nice and fast.
 
Going to order a new mic fed up with this thing not working now hopefully I've got my plantronics lying around somewhere i can use for abit.

Also neally needed a new keyboard after last night when i joined TS and someone (sorry i dont know anyones voice yet) said I might have a mouth full of nuts thats why im quite....I spat beer (i mean nuts) out all over my keyboard luckily it hadn't done any harm although I might pick up a TKL anyways.

@smogsy It would be nice to have a few DLC maps on the server although i know not everyone has DLC packs so would have to test it out see which map rotation works best

A no frills mechanical tkl keyboard is a good choice IMO. TS + alcohol so a good way to ruin a keyboard though!

Ignore the people saying "I've never come across a hacker/there aren't hackers", etc. they are just idiots or so bad at the game they wouldn't recognise a hacker. If you play for any kind of length of time on any given day on a server that has PB announce on you will see atleast 2-3 people banned by PB for "multihack" or "aimbot" a day (not necessarily people on that server) and its not just doing that for fun.

That said though I've rarely seen more than 1 a day tops (sometimes not even that) and if you stay away from servers that are either 24x7 lockers or have lockers on a lot in the map rotation you'll rarely run into them. This is a huge reduction compared to most of the popular FPS games I've played over the years. I've not found it particularly disruptive the odd exception aside. (EDIT: You might get the odd person badly using a wallhack, etc. but if your half good at the game that isn't too big an issue).

Not kept up with the grip changes but...

Been using the ergo/vertical as I believe they still slightly help when shooting on the move with ADS as well as hip firing. IIRC the accuracy grips only kick in so late they are pretty useless and the stability grips don't really have a benefit if you have a good level of skill in the first place compared to what you lose by not having the other grips/functionality.

EDIT: I actually kind of like the flash hider change though it needs a bit more work - too many people just stuck it on as it was often a least bad option - the game can be quite tactical now with the increased number of muzzle flashes visible and having to remember when its a vulnerability and how to take advantage of it.

Farting around on the test range testing settings and noticed for some reason dice decided to make the bridge section indestructible now, seems to be made of concrete instead of wood like it was. Bit of a random thing to change.:confused:
 
Just on the test range tho? On the MP map Paracel Storm they can be destroyed.

I just got the last jet master dogtag, equipped one and the new contrails are totally worth it... a slight blue tint I think. That is all :).
