The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Nah I don't use AB for BF4, didn't have it running it the background.

Think it's sorted now, I had the Bitdefender icon pop up, so I Alt+Tab'd it go clear it away and then the game kept going fullscreen/halfscreen/fullscreen/halfscreen. Nightmare when trying to kill someone!

Thanks. Will remove. RE: SWBF, it's going to be a horrible buggy mess. I would be surprised if I don't get through a single game without crashing.

But in all honesty, I think the game is not going to require any skill at all.

I mean if it plays really well who cares, but as it stands it looks like a game aimed at 11 years who are new to the starwars franchise rather than the age group who watched the films when we were kids in the 80's/90's.
 
Yup, I agree, very arcadey especially the flight system.

I do think it is going to be very meh for online when it comes to conquest type of games but for other stuff like survival, I think it could be great fun and the graphics + sounds + the atmosphere and general star wars universe will hopefully make up for the crap stuff.... I definitely can't see it being good for longevity though.

Same developers who did BC 2 so there is still some hope!

Whilst people would moan about this... I still think they should have just done a reskin of bf 4 with improvements.....
 
Assuming this is the SWBF thread,,

I think it's going to be a bit like BC2, smaller and more focused than BF3 or 4. walker assault looks like a rush type game, where one team is trying to stop the advance of the other. It could be fun (Rush was in BC2).

I'm not expecting the maps to be huge either.

So long as it's balanced and fun. If it takes itself too seriously the fun part might be limited though.
 
Just watched the latest LevelCap video, him JackFrags and Matimio are discussing the next big Battlefield title, BF5 etc etc

Level mentions that he knows someone is a well placed area of Dice who thinks it could be another WW2 title.

Please gods! Just don't mess it up. I personally would welcome a Vietnam setting.
