I'm shocked, still can't believe this, but I've had a response from the retailer concerning my cards and they will refund me in FULL. That's just over £600 for my 670's. I wanted to wait for Pascal but now the 980ti is tempting or should I just get a mid range card and stick to my original plan?

Personally I go with the 980 ti or furyx (assuming you aren't tied into nvidia for whatever reason) or a really cheap second hand 980/290x from the MM until pascal.

Looking at the new 980ti Strix or the G1 Gaming atm. This is going to be a decision made on whether my heart overrules my head.

This seems to be the recommended option. There maybe better cards coming out though.

I'm very tempted, going to be my usual rude and abrasive self and see if I can get them out the door rather quickly. My house is roasting, the effects that an extra 2 people will have make me less inclined the offer them beverages. At least this is my plan...
