I think the weekend sessions prove that you don't need it. I think I'll be switching to hardline when it comes out in any case - will ofcause play the odd game of BF4. Both hardline and BF4 will tie me over until battlefront comes out which I am really looking forward too as I'm a huge Starwars fan.

Un be known to Josh (until now ) I use flir optics, smoke grenades and airburst smoke in Lockers all the time. Whilst I can easily see the enemy I hear him swearing and cursing at the enemy for smoking out an area but I'm the one to blame :p

Anyone else get cpu spikes on a i5 4690k? Any way to solve it if so? Just built a new rig amd tried out BF and I get a huge spike every so often havent overclocked it yet or anything.

Not looking good is it. I've just hit 98, just to much to catch up in the amount of hours I now put into it. I've done bloody well to catch him up, but was just to much I think.
 
The patch has really improved things in the netcode area, amazing to think that people said there was nothing wrong with it :p

Btw, now running all on ULTRA - 2XMSAA - 150% Resolution Scale, lowest it dropped was 90FPS in metro 64/64 during a heated battle.
 
Whilst Tony may have double my amount of points needed he has the much needed 200% boosts availible. My 139 battlepack where I was hoping for at least 1 100% gave me nothing more than 50's.

Think he will take it, I'm trying but will be one helluva grind trying to get there!

Plus Cities Skylines comes out today so may be on that for a few days, could be a big time sink!

Nice overclock on that 980 :D I thought about getting one but I couldn't bring myself to invest in the mid range card although god knows how long I'll be waiting for the affordable cut down Titan X variant. Probably 6 months ;(
 
Since the update I keep getting the sound of rockets firing off when I'm in the AA or Jet ....even though I have not fired any off , on a more positive note ...I do like how night vision and thermal seem sharper...just a shame there is no night vision or thermal for the heli pilot

Also putting my card back to stock has given me more fps lol
