Mine just kept black screening, but if I left it, and tabbed it it appeared to actually work. :confused:

Quick question actually. I found when using Recon the range finder did not always seem to work, unless I die. Then sometimes it comes back, what give?

The sensor is there, but just grey, in stead of having blue and red numbers on it.

Just switch to pistol and back and the range finder will work.

I've noticed I get double scopes quite often, sniper scopes and vehicle scopes sometimes have a 2nd scope overlayed on them. Usually lasts a few minutes after joining a server. Funny though because it gives you a range finder on scopes that shouldn't have one :).

When I get the message, it generally doesn't even start the actual game (No game icon appears on my task bar). In this case I just kill battlelog and restart it from origin after which it seems to behave itself for a few rounds.

Yeah I get double sets of reticules on vehicles when using FLIR a lot. I can often fix it by seat switching or exiting and getting back into the vehicle.

If I can find it I've got a video of joining a server and getting what I can only describe as the "party" HUD for the SRAW - bright pink with extra data like range duplicated 2-3x and canted to one side... have to hand it to Dice LA in a way - while a lot of it is just papering over the cracks it is amazing how much they've managed to polish up a **** - the game engine really is fundamentally pretty flawed at a basic level.
 
The messed up scopes started when they introduced the customising of scope colours I think. Don't remember getting the problem before that.

Ah that explains that then! Just a strange thing to keep happening really, I also find that the cross hairs randomly vanish sometimes on Conquest. Does that also happen to you guys, tend to be mainly on the Assault class though.

I've had crosshairs vanish after being revived
 
My map disappeared completely last night. Then I realised I'd joined hardcore Zavod nightshift conquest!

Turned out alright in the end. LAV main gun is a one shot on HC. I had FLIR, they had no map or 3d spotting. Shooting fish in a barrel! :D
 
Has bf4 been updated lately guys? Loaded up origin this evening for the first time in quite a while to play a few rounds. 849mb update for 4 which unfortunately is gonna take ages to dl.

I've had it since release - though its fairly uncommon - seems to happen a bit more often since those changes though.
 
Grrr i got so annoyed when some idiot decides to steal vehicle and camp in it all game so i couldnt battle vs you guys in lav and mbt. So i just C4 his camping stealing ass :p

Good games!, dat lav vs tank trade kill though :D

Had some epic rounds with the momo-bot and a couple of other OcUKrs on rush on zavod graveyard, and conquest on some of the final stand maps tonight as well! :)
