A mic is how us humans communicated over the tinterwebz, I would expect a robot cyborg to know that!
*edit* won't be on tonight. VM is showing 6mb down and they can't fix it so have to wait for an "engineer" on...Thursday. At least they won't be billing me between now and then.
On the plus side, ordered a new Bitfenix Alchemy 2.0 from OcUK, now with a magnetic strip to attach to the case. Looks lovely.

Yeah will let you know tonight/tomorrow after some usage, mainly just bought them for BF 4/FPS MP games but so far seem nice for sound quality in films (especially with the dolby headphone setting in the asus control panel) and read good things for games. Build quality and design wise, they are very nice, quite comfy too. Open back too so you can hear background noise without issue.
Just need to find out what settings to use.
