About 150ms so very playable. No packet loss. Honestly it's just good to have some banter

The last BF I played was Bad Company 2 which I enjoyed. I know very little about BF4 and its unlocks etc. Since its been out a while now, am I likely to struggle agains't established players until I can get some good weapons unlocked or should I be ok?
Amazon has the limited edition with the China Rising expansion for £13 (which is actually cheaper than the base game with no DLC). Is this the version I want to go for? Theres a Digital Deluxe which has China + some Battlepacks things, and a Premium which says it comes with all 5 expansions but it's £40. Am I cutting myself out of a lot of content if I don't get all the expansions?

The starting weapons aren't too bed TBH, but you will find experienced players will probably have the drop on you most of the time. Use your ears and your minimap to help locate enemies.
There's a decent LMG you can unlock from the single player campaign (m249).
AK-12 and the first unlock SCAR-H are decent enough assault rifles.
My favorite PDW at the moment is the MP-7
The first carbine (AK-5C) is pretty good. (well it's very accurate).
TBH on a lot of the maps if you aren't totally terrible you can hold your own pretty well with the AK-5C (starting weapon) once you've about 10-20 kills worth of unlocks - it has reasonable rate of fire, good accuracy/spread/recoil/stability, decent muzzle velocity and not affected too much by movement, etc. several of the fairly easy to unlock assault rifles pack a lot of punch as well.
It seems that the americans are also a fan of hackusations

Haha yeh something like that. Server in LA are few and far between so ping can be upwards of 100ms sometimes. As someone who normally had the lowest ping in any given server I'm not used to playing with lag haha
If Nexus can do it via the Potato then you should no problems.
I may reinstall over the weekend, although the time difference and ping could be fun.
Haz you got your interwebz better than 10kbps yet?
